  1. I think i could of done better with her now, she was a slow starter coming from the border side i guess, and i was 16 and impatient. She had a shorter tail than usual due to the border having a naturally shortish tail, she was quite a tough cookie though and would'nt back down to other dogs whatever there size.
  2. Chucky are you talking about a border terrier greyhound
  3. I had a Border / Whippet some years ago, to be honest not really fast enough for a lurcher and not as good as a terrier for bushing.

    Joke

Paddys Australian migration visa comes through, so first things first, off he trotts to the local hospital to have half his brain removed. He wakes from the operation to see a concerned looking surgeon, "I'm sorry to inform you Paddy but we've, by mistake, removed three quarters of your brain" Paddy happily replies "don't worry about that b'Jesus, i'll just have to go to New Zealand instead." Does anybody know a joke that can piss off more countries than three. Shepp
  5. I see what your saying kreet but I thought they should level out to a reasonable size and the deerhound would add better coat, feet and brains than a greyhound would.
  6. Well bedlingtons are put over greyhound bitches I guess the biggest problem is finding someone who is prepared to let there deerhound give birth to such a litter, when deerhounds sell for 600 quid plus.
  7. I was just wondering if anybody has ever owned or come across a a deerhound whippet first cross. On paper it sounds like a good cross, both being probably the smartest sitehounds with good noses. The whippet giving agility and bringing the size down and the deerhound giving bone and a good coat, both having plenty of guts. Should be a useful dog from the right parents.
  8. Nice one kreet, i'd be interested to see them, and a few of your pup growing up too
  9. My mate had one many years ago, it was like a miniture whippet with a jack russel brain. Struggled to catch out in the open but was an excellent bushing dog in the dense bramble cover in my area. I have always fancied one myself, from the right parents. Do you know if the russel is a leggy type?
  10. She was a nice looking, strong working type Frank.

    MINCER

I've got this one too, i've minced a good few pounds of chicken with bones. It works really well, fixes firmly to the work surface, easy to take apart and clean. I'd definately recommend it
  12. Maybe after a chocolate bar ie Fuse or Dime
  13. Maybe she kept the eyeballs Ditch so they could see her through the week I've eaten roasted beetles in Cambodia, chickens feet in china town London and sea slug in Malaysia.
  14. Must be lucky here, all appointments are made on a daily basis and I always get one the same day.
  15. Probably a Community Support Police Dog
  16. Just looking at that above thread made me wonder what happened to that daft cow kate.
  17. My pup was the same, now at six month she's much better and runs up to most dogs for a game.
  18. Yes it's everywhere i go here, really bad.
  19. Nice pup SJM, can still see plenty of collie in her. She's about the same height as my pup but mines 6 months old.
  20. Or a condom hanging out of it
  21. That bitch looks ideal for lurcher breeding, really nice and leggy.
