Vintage is my usual go to cider off the shelf. Aspens Grand Cru is a nice one if I fancy something more dry and fizzy. I had Flat Tyre in a pub near me on tap, I see they now sell it in cans in Tesco but at £2 each it's over priced so I've never bought it.

I am thinking about organising an apple pressing day over my allotment next year, there are loads of apples left on the trees or rotting on the ground.

Got a new pair of Haix here, only worn them once but they look very heavy duty, I think they will take a bit of breaking in. Not too heavy mind, just quite stiff, really nice boots.

Amazing how Russia tries to me a superpower with an economy the size of Italy's? How can such a vast country have such a weak economy? Take away the oil and gas and they have nothing. Maybe Stalins purges wiped out so many of the free thinking intelligentsia that the gene pool will never recover?

Let's be honest it would be far from stable either if left alone. I agree though, we should put more time and effort into getting our own country back on track first and foremost. I do believe an iron fist is needed to have relative stability over there though. So should Russia. I don't give a toss about Russia tbh. Now that's a surprise!Judging by how you go on about them on here, it makes you sound like one of those Russia apologists who spends all day watching RT and believes it is unbiased truth, when in fact it is just a Kremlin mouth piece. Let's be honest it would be far from stable either if left alone. I agree though, we should put more time and effort into getting our own country back on track first and foremost. I do believe an iron fist is needed to have relative stability over there though. So should Russia. I don't give a toss about Russia tbh. Now that's a surprise! There must be 6 window cleaners round here ranging from couple guys in a car with ladder up to vans with gutter suckers etc.Guy does mine been turning work down as got to much on. He tends to do residentials monthly if people don't want them done like 3/4 times in a row he doesn't bother asking them again, That's why I don't bother using window cleaners, windows don't need cleaning once a month.

+2, yeh it will be deff a test for AJ, but if uses is jab,reach, and keeps a good defence , i think your right right his power punching should win the fight and knock out klitschko mid round. he got to use his brains/brawn in this fight Lennox Lewis beat him with a cut, and was landing more shots in that fight, but L/L i dont think got AJ punching power, so it could deff go to a ko for AJ , just hope the fight comes off AJ has a long way to go before we can compare him to Lewis. Lewis was a much more fluid boxer and had good instinct to finish off a boxer he had in trouble

My first batch is very slow to start but I'm pitching exactly that yeast in my new batch in the morning..... I'm only doing 2 gallon batches at the moment...... Getting pretty obsessed to say the least! Matt It does get pretty obsessive with the yeast it's all about being in a reasonable temperature as well mines in an outside building but when the sun shines on it it gets quite warm which helps it along.The crucial bit is after fermentation keeping it airtight otherwise it can't wait to turn to cider vinegar. The only I made cider with a friend, we used white wine yeast on one 5 gal batch
