    I think its something you have to accept, and if you dont like it dont look. I cant stand that Katie Price bird, but i know shes there and i just dont watch anything with her in it or read anything about her, simplz!!

    Read a story about a reporter who asked to accompany a gun along to a shoot, the gun wanting to prove that as shooters we are not just out to kill everything that moves agreed to take the reporter, on the first drive the reporter was constantly asking why the gun was not shooting rabbits and certain species of birds, when the gun replied by saying that a big emphasis was safety so the shoot doesnt allow the shooting of ground game and the birds she was pointing out were not on the list as legal to shoot she got a bit irrate, i think she thought she was going to be able to write a story about a

    I am still amazed that in this day and age and despite the number of wars that have been fought around the world, vietnam, somalia etc etc that any country who thinks it can win against a nation who will die for what it believes in is beyond me. Now being an ex armed forces member i have the utmost respect for the job that our guys are doing out there and its not their fault they are fighting this war but the politicians will never learn.

    I have same problem as does the keeper on our shoot, tried some X3Mi ones from sportsman gun center, didnt last a season, tried le chameau leather lined and full zip but the sole fell off, have settled for a pair of hunter sovreigns leather lined and with a full zip for the wide calf, so far theyve lasted me 2 seasons only problem is they are not very warm in this realy cold weather, i have vowed next year to buy a pair of high boots, like the chameau mouflon plus or meindl droves.

    Selbys always a good one, as is chatsworth and catton park but there both derbyshire way, there is a big one in Newark on 27th & 28th Feb at the showground, should be ok.     As stated, not long left before the end of the season and i want to try and get as much shooting in as i can before the end of the season, works a bit shite at the mo. Cancelled one of my syndicates this year to concentrate on building an extension which ive now finished. I dont mind what it is, driven, vermin, boundary, walked up, rough etc etc. Have a working dog, BASC insurance and a full hipflask which i dont mind sharing. Located in Worksop, Notts but dont mind traveling with an hour or so.

    I have hunter soverigns and have to say whilst they are comfy and fit my calves well they are not very warm in the cold weather, they are leather lined and even with a decent sock on my toes still freeze. Id go for a boot rather than a welly.

    Its the only coat i wear now, ive tried (and got) dozens of coats but always go back to the barbour.

    I take it no one can give a genuine answer to a legitimate question? ok, so what if i asked, what type of dog is best at snapping up a rabbit on illegal land, would i be inundated with answers?
