    ive just finished digging over my 2nd raised bed that i built in my garden last year, in the 1st one i grew starwberrys parsnips sprouts and leeks, planted 6 asparagus plants in it too so looking forward to harvesting it in years to come, last year i also grew potatoes in bags but neglected to water them as often as i should have and ballsed it up. Have also got several fruit trees and bushes planted all over my garden including rhubarb, gooseberry, redcurrant, blackcurrent, crab apple, sloe, pear, apple and plum. Having a go at alsorts this year now i have 2 beds to tackle, i was a great feel

    Fook me, where do i start, after running nightclubs for 20 years and now owning one i have booked for personal appearances 100s over the years, from DJs, Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Jeremy Healy Etc Etc to soap stars Samantha Janus, Ricky Whittle etc, music bands/singers N Dubz, JLS, Edwin Star, Jocelyn Brown, Judy Cheeks etc, all the Big Brother and X Factor lot, but probably the best ive ever booked have been Take That & Chesney Hawkes although i did have a good time with Patsy Kensit one night while her bloke was DJing for me, shes a lovely woman.     My wife and i watched that program, it did raise some valuable points about british vs migrant workers, but when a programe like this is aired it is difficult to distinguish what is made for tv and what is indeed factual, i have been at the receiving end of a similar documentary that was supposed to highlight the dangers of binge drinking, as it turned out what the media wanted to film was a club load of drunken louts causing trouble instead of the sensible ones who were just out for a good night, dont get fooled into thinking that just cos its on tv its the truth, and remember good news doesn

    I only know of 3 places that do a hare cull, and i certainly dont know any shoot that is allowed to shoot them as they are ground game and most shoots dont let you take ground game. There is some truth in that numbers are being kept down to keep the dog lads away from the land but i doubt we will see the end of the brown hare, theres still plenty of them about.

    Well had a good day on the hare shoot, think the final bag was 54 hare, 5 fox, 2 squirell and 1 lonely pigeon. Good day had by all and i only saw one hare in distress through a combination of poor shooting or shooting with the wrong cartridge, quite a few guys shooting with 30gm 7shot.

    Roost shooting, squirell bashing, hare drive tomorow, then when all that dies down making a concerted effort to go and knock on as many doors as i can to make sure i have some shooting all year round, september doesnt come fast enough for me and im dammed if im staying in all weekend.

    Waste of a wonderfull creature,, do they really do that much harm, damage ? and are they found in the huge numbers they used to be ?,, i think they should be left alone,, i hate to see them get shot a scury away to a long and painful death,, the kills just aint clean enough for my likeing,, and the strong aswell as the week are getting killed,,shooting hares,,, what a waste of such an athlete,, This is an annual cull and not to be confused with a regular shooting activity. The area where we are shooting is prolific in hares with an annual cull in excess of 100 hares. I am reliably infor

    Cheers for that, i dont think there is a specific load he wants using i just want whats best so the hare isnt in any distress when i shoot it, thats if i shoot one of course.
