  1. I know it's an accepted way of getting more for your efforts, but I hate the thought of messing with 'semen'. Sometimes there can be a low amount of useable Sperms and I guess it get's watered down even more with the albumen, or whatever you use? If the line is important to keep, I'd be knocking his Door, depending on the Falcons he used in his matings. I am not a breeding man, enjoy doing too many things to be tied to it. I love the manning and entering processes, sometimes more than going out for the day in the Field. Good luck with your Pere's bud, perhaps I can put my name down on a Falco
  2. Getting a PR Gos this year, the forth Gos I have had over time. I am getting it from a couple of guys who went to Finland and brought several Birds back. The mother of my Bird was wild caught in Finland and the Father is first generation captive bred. I have known them a little while and I am looking forward to going up and viewing their Birds and picking the one I want. There are guys out there selling Finnish this and Finnish that, I have bought them, so I know....BUT the chance of getting a Bird from a wild caught female Gos in Finland and a first gen captive bred Bird as it's Father does

  15. The 7 and 8 foot Fox Nets I make have double Pegs, with double draw Cords. Much quicker to bag than the singles and you can't make a mistake and let the Fox out when you lift it by the Cord. They are not a fad, quite handy in some situations, another weapon to have in your Bag.
  16. Lifetime guarantee!!? I can only assume they are not that experienced in making Boxes for Terriers and Terriermen...............Some situations I have had would cost 'Dogtran' a small fortune replacing them...lol.
  17. When I personally reply to a Thread I am not talking about so called 'Fox Dogs'. I post about standards and culling dogs out etc, etc. I am not talking about Puppies like most of you are talking about, 14 and 15 Months old would only be watching what's what. A first Season dog would be as close to 2 years old as I could get, before intentionally loosing it in. Then it would be given as much as it could take, without working it with scabs. A second season dog would be over 2 years old at least. I never cull Pups (Terrier under 2) unless they have curred out during the Puppy 'hands on' process.
  18. The same Trainers were for sale on e-bay, 'Born to hunt' said his Mrs put them on as a back up to get them sold. We agreed a price, I sent the money out of good faith, warning that I wouldn't be happy if they were copies. He assured me they were bought from a Shop, so I did my bit and sent the cash registered mail to a; MARTYN BARNES, 199 PALL MALL, CHORLEY, PR7 3ND. The money was sent the 7th of May and signed for, when I never got the Trainers after a bit I PM'd the guy on here. He said they were sent, then I PM'd him a few more times and NO REPLIES. This morning I went on e-bay and the ex
  19. spot on bryan hit the nail on the head i also think that most of these so called rock hard dogs would benifit from a bit more work and would soon learn how too use there voice . I AGREE WITH THE ABOVE...... I think the 'modern' Terrierman is afraid to give their dogs the opportunity to 'jib'. We here all the cliches like "they are not machines" and "they are only made of flesh and blood" and several more besides. The truth is these Terriers have been bred for generations after generations, to do a specific job and they should be given EVERY chance to prove their worth as individuals. Some
