Not always the case, with a Defender, what you add can add value. It is the choice of the extras which can make the difference. For example if someone fitted a Galvanized Chassis or Bulkhead or both, replacement lower mileage Engine, Air diff lock, correct Wheels and Tyres. In this case, "Your Eye is your guide".......he's not trying to rip someone off. Not as easy as saying "2001 vehicle with 134000 miles on it", if it was a Car, maybe. I am on my 5th 'Land Rover 90' in a row, this one's a 300tdi Defender.

'Vari Kennel' brand Sky Crate, the type used to import/export Dogs and the like. Can be used for a House Kennel or whatever you want it for. Size #7, or Giant, is the largest you can actually buy, without placing a special order. It will comfortably fit two good sized Lurchers in for back of the Van / Truck. It comes apart for storage by using nuts and bolts, with lockable wire door. Google them and you will see plenty of Pics. The price of these from suppliers varies from £190 up to £201. There are many topics on cleaning up a dog, do searches. If something is difficult to get, try something else you can get. I have known guys to just jab a dog with penicillin and chuck the dog in the Kennel......"he'll be alright, gave him a jab". Get the area clean, use a small sprayer or syringe and get cleaning solution right in and give the area a good clean. Any human antibiotic spray is good, used with a good wash out every day. Contact Lense solution is excellent for wounds too and no burning like peroxide solution (most guys have it too strong). A weak Virkon solution is good for helpi

You need to have a think and do some research Matty. Decide which you are looking for, Shamo or Aseel/Asil. They can be Worlds apart and a whole minefield of shite around. I have kept Asian Birds, along with yanks, for quite a number of years.......many hundreds of pounds change hands for crossbred 'dunghills'!!

The period in a dogs life, which has the most influence, is between 12 weeks to 18 Months. If your Brittany was trained up and working fine with Birds of Prey and sharp on whistle and hand commands, then it won't be too old for a refresher course. A Gundog has all it's training in place when you start working it, then it gets the experience to 'round it off' by working under a Gun or Bird. Every now and then it should be part of your regime to nip problems which arise in the bud, by way of going through all the basics again. Keeps the dog in it's place and satisfies you it is on target. In my

Show him how to make one himself. We all learnt from each other on the best configurations to use....even dimmer Switches..lol. Then he never has to scrounge to get hold of a Lamp again, he can just make one until he has the funds to buy a kit.

When I started lamping there weren't Lamps made specifically for lamping with dogs. I don't know your age or personal circumstances, but making a Lamping kit isn't Rocket Science. An old Motorbike Battery, a small section of Broom handle, an old spot light from a Car, a bit of switched Wire, insulating Tape and a surplus shoulder Bag. We even used Car Batteries, if we found one laying about. It is a bit cheeky to ask........IF you haven't tried to make one.

I have an unworn desert colour windproof smock in xxl, to swap. It has the wired Hood and many large Pockets, in ripstop material. I would like a Barbour Liddesdale Jacket for it, as good a condition as I can get. Would like it in Green. If not I would sell the Jacket I have for £60 all in.
