Hello bosun11, I hope your boy is on the mend, and wish him luck. My mates Staff had the same problem with the dreaded Blackthorn that got stuck in his eye. The vets had to remove his eye ball too.

Hello Sir, One of the methods which worked for me was, at bed time I would sleep on the floor with a sleeping bag with the pup on top and every time they moved off, I would place them outside and it was hard work, it payed off in the end as they learned very quickly. During the day I would monitor them or place news papers down near their basket by our back door. Then moving the papers closer to the back door, eventually taking the papers away. The only thing I found with the latter was, a few of the pups became very very protective around me as they started to bark and growl and

So to become a Terrier Man, one has to show his so called Game dogs in action, doing Earth work. I don't think so Most of the guys I know are very private and never boast about there digs. Any outsiders would never know what the dog and master are about to encounter.

I took my AB male out the other night and I spotted a fox in the distance and it hid amongst the the reeds. My boy did not see him but must of smelt the Fox, he just went beserk. I have never seen him react in this way before, he was acting more like a Blood Hound.

Hi Mate, would notice any difference between ondex to mepps I mean their very similer in design TO Hi Mate, Sorry for double posting. I have used the Mepps before and had no luck, only to be snagged up With the smaller Ondex I have caught Perch and Jacks. Sizes 5 + I have landed 19 + ibs
