  1. I've got a .22 HW97k and it gets more trips into the woods than my Daystate harrier. I've got absolutely no complaints with it, its no louder than the aweful hammer DOINK! on the Daystate and it comes up to the shoulder better. Lots of power, V accurate and a satisfying, well machined hiss when its cocked. Regards, Paul.
  2. I've had one in .177 for best part of a year with 10 shot conversion and AA silencer. Very very accurate, quiet and powerful. one bit of advice I was given was to charge it up to 170 bar instead of 190 because the power rises as the pressure goes down a bit... The mark 3 ([bANNED TEXT] I got) has a half decent stock and a metal bolt as standard. One time the magazine got a bit sticky and wouldnt index properly but it was dry and 2 drops of gun oil sorted it quickly enough. I can't think of any faults really, I suppose at £300 its not going to feature highly as a bling owners gun at FT me
  3. HW100 is on my short list too, I've got 3 HW springers (35, 57, 97k) and they are brilliant .22s. I checked out the HW100 a while back but went for a Daystate instead and I dont like it!!! I've also got an S200 mk3 in .177 with 10 shot mag fitted which I use to decafeinate squirrels. Its (reasonably) cheap, well made, light and ridiculously accurate. The mag stopped indexing the rounds once but a couple of drops of oil sorted it out and its not been any problem since. The power tends to rise a bit as the air pressure goes down so I now put 170 bar in it instead of the recomended 190 bar and
  4. Hi all, Also just joined today. I'm keen on air rifle hunting and have been for about 30 years or so now. If I'm not out shooting I'm out taking pictures which in my mind is often just as much fun. I started a little web site about this time last year and I'm still adding bits and taking bits away from it with the intention of creating a fairly balanced view on air rifle sport and things country in general and it can be found at http://countrypages.googlepages.com/ At the moment I am hitting the squirrels quite hard and resting the rabbits because of a recent outbreak of myxi - it seems a
