    if you're looking a NV add on then you should get a scope with side px adjustment,its much easier to use than front px. something like an AGS SWAT 4-16x56 with IR and mildot ret.

    good move keeping the falcon mate,nice and simple to work on,not they ever go wrong as they are as reliable as any. imo the daystates are over rated,over priced and more target orientated than hunting.

    take a look at falcon's pistols.two different lengths,single or multi shot,full legal power,choice of stocks. you should be able to find what you want out of a falcon fn pistol.

    get a terrier from digging parents,it'll kill rats as good as any and also give you the option of using it for earth work if you ever need it asuming it lives up to its breeding.a patterdale/fell or decent russel would be your best bet.

    Hmmm I hadnt read anything about the choke, when id been looking on the internet. How would a gunsmith do this as they cany possibly make the recut barrell smaller at the end could they. Hughesey the answer is obvious buddy,cut it at the other (breech) end. it'll then need to be re machined to fit.

    the crown is different from the choke mate.the choke is where the inner bore of the barrel reduces slightly near the muzzle end. power loss varies but i would guess if you cut 3 inches off then maybe you'll lose around 1ftlb.thats ok if you know how to tweak the power back up to allow for the drop,while still keeping it under the legal limit. if you do this you'll also get less shots per charge,needing more air per shot.

    if you are talking about taking the cut at the muzzle end then yes it can affect the accuracy as you will cut the choke off the barrel end.if you are going to cut it do it at the breech,but cutting it either way will reduce the power of the gun.

    to be honest you can't as it may be deteriating from the inside.they stopped making the steal bottles years ago so it will be a good age.you could pick a newer replacement bottle up second hand for £30-£40 or so but you'll need to cost that in with your initial buy.
