    Think i have already posted up my rifle but as i cant find it. Its a CZ varmint .22lr, Sak Mod, Bipod, Nikko scope and Beretta none slip sling which im really impressed with. Sorry full the dull lighting in the photographs. 5 Shots at 60 yards ignore the strayed bullet top left.

    i have always used a 3-9 by 40 but its personal preference i know someone who uses a red dot scope on a 22 and he swears by it so like i say its personal preference try the gamekeeps rifle and try one with a 3-9 50. If you do get a scope i would go with a 3-9 by 50

    Look on Wikepedia But for now centerfire- the striker hit the casing in the center and have a bigger powder loads and normally are more powerful and are also reloadable. Rimfire- the striker hits the outside of the casing and are not reloadable but are cheap as chips to buy normally less powerfull. come in subsonic for the silent treatment. HMR= (i think) Hornady Magnum Rimfire Distance on a 243 well i was with a chap that shot a muntjac at 600 yards dont know wether thats safe or not but he was a deer ranger so he knew what he was doing.

    The gunsmith dialed mine in using this gadget. But that was just to get it rough i then went out took some shot and dialed it in from there just goto your gunsmiths to get it rough instead of makin g them v blocks and buggering about

    Well i have used a 22-250 and thought it was excellent very flat flying but this was my bosses gun and his ammunition only the other week i saw the expensive of bullets so i would go for the cheaper 223 which im sure is an excellent choice

    I have noticed the american seems to get the better wood stocks and the varmint are usually plainer but on the odd occasion the varmint you get a good stock i managed to get a good stock

    Good luck on your tree felling mate i did both of them at college was good fun all the best with the business mate. I was thinking of going self employed but then i changed my mind and went into the army lol after 2years studying forestry and arboriculture

    How come you have to clean the barrel on these calibre guns so often? Would you have to do the same say with a 243 or something of that nature ?
