20 months. It belonged to an old lady who couldnt cope with him, Kept catching rats!
He is a firey little fecker.
Its been a rude wake up for him, I think he slept in her bed!
Screamed the place down last night in the kennel
Im thinking of getting a terrier to work along side my lurcher, for general mooching
I want a terrier that will work undergrowth and bolt the odd fox.
Im new to terrier work and was wondering what type to go for can anyone offer any advice please?
I understand that some lines of terrier would be wasted doing this sort of work.
I was thinking of a rough coated bitch has anyone got any thoughts?
I have seen an ad in an old countrymans for the above lurchers
They seem to be beddy whippet Xs bred by a bloke called Phil.
Any one on here got one? How do they do on the lamp
How do you rate them?
Thanks Ste.
she looks younger than she is on that picture. she's 7 1/2 months now . just wanted to see how she would react to rabbits in the beam and if she'd look down the beam ect. she showed tonnes of interest and im gonna start her properly in january or so. have to see how she is then.
I know she is young but I tried my dog on the lamp tonight. I let her have a couple of easy runs and she picked it up in no time.
I am well pleased with how she did.
my mums dog was done a couple of years ago and since then its put on weight. its diet and excercise hasnt changed but its got fat. so i think its true that it can affect them mentally and physically.
my saluki greyhound bull X is 7 months now and i have shown her a few rabbits and she seems keen as mustard. havent had a good enough opportunity to slip her yet. im stuck in 2 minds whether to start her properly or leave her a few more months yet.
