  1. I use 5.53mn Simon. They shoot very nice in the rifle. The hamster worked brill today Roger at ODP. Even knocked down the 33 yard stander first attempt. I scored 2 x 48s with the .22 HW97KT which I was happy with. That was with a donut aswell.
  2. I did it myself by stripping it then using dark oak stain. It works a treat just back from filming and testing it. Si.
  3. Cheers Roger. I don't think that there is any way on earth I'll be winning the .22 next weekend, but i will try and do my best. Si.
  4. Thanks to Roger Crook , The HW97KT has now got its hamster fitted ready for the Air Arms meet next week. Hopefully now standing shots and shots off the peg will be a lot easier. Great job Roger you're a top friend. Si.
  5. I think your HW97KT is in .177 isn't it pal? I don't think we will be whopping your butt if it is with our .22s mate. Range estimation isnt my best shooting attribute.
  6. Its one of the best springers out there Mac. Si.
  7. You coming as well Mark? Have you got a springer too mate?
  8. Well it just looks like its me and you partner then. Unless Chaz and Phil turn up. Si.

  12. Another member lured by the gravity of the black hole.
  13. Thats it lads the HW97KT .22 is the one I'm taking. Going to go old school and see how i do. She hasn't had a proper run out in months so it will be a treat for her.
  14. Yep I'm going Rob. Im either shooting a .22 HW100KT or .22 HW97KT obviously in the .22 class. Im going more towards my trusty and proven HW97KT though.
  15. Glad Malc was found safe and well. Good result. Nice post gents. Si.
  16. For me i would say its seems to be more down to the balance of the rifle and the what seems rapid lock time. The rifle holds still with ease and sometimes when you move and think you are going to miss the target falls over as the pellet as left the barrel way before you have moved. I also find accuracy very easy with it from a bench rested position. The end results are better than both my pcps. What I mean by that is, both my pcps shoot sub 5p, 3 shot groups at 55 yards, but i can do it more often and what seems far easier with my HW98. In regards to a S2 HW97KT, its not any be

  18. Quality Mark. Yet another shooter lured in by the pull of the black hole rifle. Si.
  19. Andy you know the black hole will soon pull you in.
  20. Brendan, The more you put the rifle the better it will shoot. 500 pellets is a minimum I would say starts to feel smooth. 2 to 3 thousand is much more like it.
