  1. Nice write up Luke Mate just for the record. A 30 yard shot is a good shot for a sub 12 FP air rifle if it brings a clean and humane kill, so don’t bring yourself down in your posts and well done for making it fella. There are people with sub 12 FP rifles that would call 25 yards their maximum range, and there is nothing wrong with that what so ever either, its all about being truthful and responsible as a shooter. If you can hit birds at 45 yards and kill them cleanly then so be it, you may well be a good shot who knows. Zini
  2. Thats true fella, but in this case it wasnt Cheers for the compliment Zini.
  3. Congratulations Tony mate Its really good news for you mate but terrible news for the local HOLY BUNNIES So when am i coming down to assist you with putting a few more halos on a couple of them mate??? Si
  4. Country, If you are happy with your rifle and you can achieve everything with it that the rifle was purchased for then the rifle must be a good gun. You say that you dont really shoot much, so why bother what people think friend? If you get a few hours of fun plinking in the garden every so often and pot the odd close range rat with it then you have answered your own question. Its like me saying that i have 2 cars. A brand new top of the range BMW and a old Metro. Which one would be the best car to shoot rabbits from? In this case the Metro would as you wouldnt want to get
  5. Tommy, Why does it have to be a ASI Para Trooper spring mate? If you have the rifle already and take it to and good gun smiths they will be able to put a spring in to it better than the old type of spring mate. The rifle will shoot better and smoother. I used to own one myself when i was about 13 years old mate. They are good little plinking rifles, and good close range ratting guns. I havent seen one for years though. Zini
  6. Cheers Marksman mate , I think what Sib said was true and ill take it on board for my next DVD . Sib how you getting on with your new rifle? You shot anything yet mate, or have i got to come down to yours to show you how its done Si
  7. Well done Luke, Good shooting pal Zini
  8. Why you selling it pal and what calibre is it? Is the R10 the mark 1 OR 2? If its the mark 1 i think that you will have a problem selling it in here mate. If its the mark 2 and in its full working condition i should imagine it will go fast as i know someone on here that rates them very highly and has used it quite a lot to hunt with, with not bad effect Best of luck Zini
  9. I have done Marksman, The misses are on the DVD
  10. No luckily that day i wasnt filming mate Si
  11. Lets just say it was a saw point mate Si
  12. I know how you feel Moore friend, When they start and let you down then its time to get rid. With all the shooting that i do i need a rock steady reliable rifle. Lucky that i have the R10 mark 2 and HW100KT. They seem very reliable so far. Si
  13. Hi Tony and Davy, Your right lads everyone misses the easy 20 metre shots sometimes, and everyone makes the wounding shots which we all try to avoid. Thats part of learning to be a better shot. When Joey and Chris first started shooting with me i told them about all the rabbits ears id pierced on my permission. I think that they thought that i was trying to pull the wool over their eyes until we re shot a few but this time dead and examined their ears to see my old pellet holes . Anyone who says that they never miss or never wound i would say either dont shoot at all or is just a
  14. LOL Wuzzy, You know i dont like to go a day without a a kill. Shooting is like a drug to me. I need my daily fix Si

  18. Cheers guys, I know Marksman. I was so mad with myself deep inside for missing that bunny, I really wanted to make up for the embarrassing miss but there were no bunnies out to shoot . Just shows that if you get complacent like I was Mother Nature has the last laugh, and last night see did . Anyway I made up for it tonight pal with the 3 bunnies so I feel a lot better now . Si
  19. Luke, I'm sure I've just seen a HW90 with a HW silencer fitted in my Air Gunner magizine. I'd look at that model first mate. Zini
  20. Its the 5 metres shots that i miss Chris, I'm going into the hanger tomorrow to work on that range hold over Si
  21. Cheers Sib, The review was very good friend and i will try and take all your advice for the next production . I am hoping to get a new video camera before the next DVD is released so hopefully that will also improve the quality of the sometimes dark pictures. I like the idea about zooming in instead of zooming out as it would make it easier to film as sometimes hit quarry jumps out of the picture to die when zoomed in a lot. This would stop that happening. I'm glad that you liked the DVD mate and you found it will worth the money. All the best mate and hopefully ill see
  22. Hi people, I’ve just been out and check zeroed both my rifles as they had a bit of a shake around yesterday when out with Chris and Joey. I was pleased to see that both rifles were still bang on and smashing drawing pins at 30 metres . After the check zero I went for a drive around with the Deben lamp and R10 pointed out the window. There were more bunnies out tonight and I managed 3 shots and 3 bunnies within about 1 hour . The first was a give away at no more that 10 metres (zero point 1). The pellet drilled through its brain and he just rolled down the bank. Th
  23. Hi people, I met with Chris and Joey (AKA Reggaeman and Wuzzy) yesterday morning at 1030 hrs at my permission. After a check zero of our equipment in the hanger we were off for a drive about to see what was in the trees . The plan was to shoot some feather until 1400 hrs with my youngest lad and terrier with us and then go back to my house for a full cooked dinner with beer before nipping to the pub for a quick one and some pork scratchings before having a couple of hours lamping bunnies . The day kicked off great with Joey borrowing my HW100KT and taking the first sh
