Yes Stuart it wont matter which caliber you choose mate as once you identify a good pellet they are very accurate. .177 seems to be what most people like these days. If your thinking of using it at night then defo go the .177 route. Si.

Well I went to the local air rifle club tonight to have a fine zero and do some long range pellet testing with the rifles favored .22 AA Fields. Due to no wind to contend with it was just about perfect conditions apart from a spell of rain that soon subsided. Well after a pellet on pellet 3 shot zero at 25 meters I decided to go out to 50 meters (55 yards). Here is a witnessed 5 shot group. Not bad at all and it shows the quality of the HW100. Si.

The only reason for selling is I have 8 rifles and its not getting shot so it’s sat in the gun safe looking dejected. The rifle is fitted with a Hawke Panorama 4 – 12 x 40 mm AO IR scope and mounts Leather sling and QD swivels The rifle is chronoed at 10.70 Ft Ibs and shoots pellet on pellet. No mate I took the .22 HW100KT. Got to get some practice in ready for the AA meet in Sept. Scored 46 points mate. I was hoping for around 48 or 49 with the .22 partner. Then me Aaron, Gary, Steve and Mark KGB had a second mini comp and I scored 46 points again so im consistent with it, I now just need to work on my range estimation to scrape another 4 or 5 points. It was the longer range shots today I didnt range as good as I would of hoped. Si

Hw100Kt Back On The Cards
zini replied to jandcguns's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I've owned quite a few 100s Scott and never had any problem with any as far as i remember. You are going to be over the moon with it mate. The first time i shot my first one i was blown away. -
I'm sure with a bit more exploration Stuart you will be able to find a better pellet for your rifle and tighten them groups up some more buddy. As Scott says though they are well good enough for any hunting situation. From what others say about Rapids and what I remember from shooting Craig's Rapid MFR a Rapid will put pellet on pellet at that range with the correctly identified pellet mate. They seem great rifles and Im well made up for you getting one buddy. From reading your many other posts its obvious that its the pellet not 100% correct for your Rapid causing the slight f
