  2. Hi mate we have a collie cross whippet. She is just like a collie, very obedient, very collie to be honest tries to round up the cats. ive got a collie x whippet 7/8 whippet 1/8 collie just looks like a strong whippet with good feet he is only about 7 month old im very happy with him i think he will make a decent dog but time will tell
  3. Allright coursing lad how you doing,i took the small bitch and the dog with the white on its nose for a pal of mine, both doing fine ill send some pics when i get time dave.
  4. fished the moy myself 8 yrs ago brilliant river never seen as many fish as were in the ridge pool ,when we went in the tackle shop at ballyna he gave us very good advise on were to fish etc.we fished the river up through foxford brilliant time.a lot of the irish lads fished bubble and fly but we fished trotting worms but with only using a large sea fishing swivel for a weight and keeping that worm moving.take plenty of worms you will need them.you will have a great time if you dont catch you will meet some great people one of my alltime best holidays.hopefully takeing my boys next year. you
  5. When i was a young lad and first started out,the lad who first took me out with the dogs had a whippet x russel and a whippet x collie both good dogs. at that time were i grew up most running dogs were whippet crosses of different degrees that was around late 70s early 80s.i remember a couple of occasions when the russel x tried going to ground. out of both dogs the collie cross got the numbers but i would have been proud to have owned any of the dogs dave.
  6. dont work like that mate because of genetics, because they are both bull greyhounds you dont know what percentage bull genes or greyhound genes the pup has recieved from each parent dog, thats why most lads like 1/2 crosses or 3/4 crosses because you know what your getting in the litter.
  7. whats keano trying to say i hate criptic clues if you know something or have anything to tell us better out than in mate!
