it is pathetic to see lads raided for this type of thing. but f**k, how were they tracked down?? who tipped them off and look what happens when the authorities do get wind of something. The law has means and methods of tracking guys down that you would not believe. Thats why i cringe when i see guys posting up shite about hunting billies and lamping hares . its only asking for trouble. have no doubt that there is anti hunters posing as genuine hunting folk on these very forums.. for all you know these guys could have been tracked down through a site like this. i have seen irish lads put up pics

Gutting Rabbit in the field?
Shylock1 replied to will777's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
What collie1612 says is by far the best. A English hawking man showed me this trick and it has saved me so much time and my hands dont stink when i come home any more.It takes practice and a bit of technique to get it right and i have seen far more powerfull men fail to squeeze the guts out of rabbit that i was able to pop out in a second. also i lost many a good knife gutting rabbits and not putting them back into the holster correctly. what i do is is similar to collie. but after i squeeze the ribs (rabbit is against my thigh back legs dangling down facing the ground) i then put my other ha -

Expierment a bit. I feed raw mince to a large majority of mine. They thrive on it. but like you, i had a lurcher (and now his daughter) that would not put on condition. He did not favour the mince, he also had limitless access to waste resturant feed but kept falling away to nothing. i tried dog nut and he would eat them sweet and put on the pounds. I then put him on a high protein dog feed, like tracker 27% that was better again. so play around with the feeding a bit. some dogs are pickers and they can break your heart. Does he feed with other dogs? if he does feed him alone best of luck
