  1. Yeah they look like Nuttall from that pic I'd say. How many digs you had to these dogs Patterdale Moocher? I like the look of them.
  2. I agree with Scent and E.Mc on dogs finding, not every dog is good at it, Some are useless at finding.
  3. HAHAHAHA!!! FFS, this is funny. Keep up the good work SpiderPig! lol.
  4. Blimey he does have a head on him don't he, he's a strong looking terrier him. Well done mate.
  5. LOL . Well done Dev, some nice foxes you've gripped up there mate.
  6. All this history is great to read, being able to read about all these old dogs is a real pleasure. Good thread.
  7. A nice honest account of things! FH fair play mate, keep at 'em.
  8. Sorry Blake but I don't really agree with what you've said either, like small Staffs? no brains? not sure where you got that info mate. KinderBeano, For Ferrets and bush work, I'm led to believe that Beddy Whippets are excellent, but as Rough coated said, if you plan on doing lots of bushing with the dog and you only want a terrier then a good thick wirey coated out of dogs who do a lot of this type of work would be a good idea.
  9. Either way best of luck with him for the future E.Mc.
  10. Who cares what the breed is, if it works it works? If I had a mongrel that worked and done anything I asked of it I'd work it.
  11. I thought the same but didn't want to say anything and look like the forum police poking my nose in. Either way I don't mind giving the lad a bit of advice. I don't really set how many days I'll leave it before I defrost them so it all depends really mate. I've usually got a few chopped up already stored in the freezer and rabbit isn't the only thing I feed them. All the new stuff gets put to the back so the older stuff gets used up first so it could be a week or two before I feed them to the dogs. As for defrosting, I feed my dogs Raw once a day, so when I feed them I get meat ou
  12. That looks some dig mate, dog has come off very well considering he was down there for 7 hours. Well done keep up the good work.
  13. I was thinking exactly the same thing! I wish we could have some of that weather here.
  14. IMO its important you feed the bones as they are a great source of calcium to strengthen your own dogs bones. I feed my dogs raw rabbit quite often, but I gut and skin, and then freeze them for a while before I feed them to the terriers, to lower the risk of any worms.
  15. had them now 4-5 gen's,had no worrie's with them so far,my vet's say they're in top nick, problem's start when you put white's on white's all the time. How much do your Bull terrier pups go for mate? PM if you prefer.
  16. Yeah Swag, the fella posts on here, I kept the link to his website because I was impressed with what he's doing. I can't remember his name, but who ever it is you look as though you're doing a very good job! Old style EBT's glad you like them, cheer's. Mate I am very impressed, best of luck with the future breedings!
  17. Not to criticize but if you haven't dug to the terrier then you can't really say you've gave it a go in my opinion. As Rough Coated said, make sure you know what the laws are when it comes to working terriers next time (if there's a next time) that you go out or you could end up having your collar felt.
