  1. Glad to see other people happy with Milbemax the way I am. It's a cracking wormer and done well for my dogs.
  2. If she is playing about and is active I doesn't sound as if it's parvo, but more than likely sounds like it could be the change of food. Still I'd get the pup checked up if you're really worried.
  3. If you don't want to try giving her any small bones that young, you could just give her different minced meats/chicken tripe, heart, liver until you're satisfied with giving her bones as well. Bones are important part of the dogs diet and that is where they get their main source of calcium for strong teeth and bones, which a grafting dog is definitely going to need.
  4. A pup that age just take it for walks, throw a ball for it and all the usual stuff, no need to get it pulling you around on a bike that will put pressure on his joints that will not be fully developed at 11 months old. Just walk/run the dog regularly IMO mate.
  5. Is she showing any other signs of being ill? Lethargic, off her food, drinking a lot? If it is Parvo I'm led to believe that the survival rates are quite high these days if you get the dog to the vets early enough.
  6. Oh I see! From what I've seen, you get all sorts of characteristics in all breeds, but I do think Russell's tend to be a bit more obedient than Patts do (from what I've seen). A lot of it will be down to how its treated and disciplined from a pup I suppose as well as the nature of the individual dog? As for gamest, you get some that will stay and some that don't with all breeds mate. If you're going to buy anything make sure you know what the parents are up to and how well they do it before buying a pup out of them. Best of luck.
  7. Makes sense to me. translate it for me then liam Yeah come on Liam, we all want to know lol .
  8. Looks a nice one Finchy mate. Best of luck with him pal!
  9. Lovely looking pup mate, best of luck with her.
  10. Put the best grafting dog available to you over the bitch mate.
  11. I've used Oxytetracycline and that done a grand job. Just make sure you keep the bite clean as well as giving the anti B's. Some helpfull links - Anti B's for Terriers. Oxytetracycline All the best with it mate.
  12. Variety is important, but raw chicken make up the bulk of what I feed my dogs. High in Protein chicken is, and although I understand a dog needs more than just a decent % of protein to be a healthy dog, a high protein diet is essential for a working dog. Lamb (Necks and Ribs), Beef (mince and heart), Rabbit, Venison, Liver, as well as the Chicken. Not to mention how the dogs love it compared to dry food as well. Cod liver oil everyday mixed in with the food does them well (2.5 ml).
  13. Best of luck with her mate, give her a chance, but be honest with yourself if she isn't meeting the standard you expect out of your own dogs. All the best.
  14. What ever the case with the breeding, best of luck with it mate!

  17. As has been said, he'll be alright to do the rats now mate, let him at 'em mate! .
  18. So long as the dog is the best dog you can possibly find and meets the standard you expect in a Lurcher and has proven it for a few seasons then use him if you want pups out of her that bad. Best of luck with the breeding mate.
  19. My first was a Hotdog with onions and a splash of red sauce. You got any pics of the Staff-Border Terrier cross mate? Never seen or heard of anyone with that cross before.
