  1. i now get mine from flatpack but i used to get them from ratbait.com they are an import but a good one made by peststop i still have about 30 of them they are good and cheap.
  2. try to use what they have been feeding on where you are setting the trap i use cages but i only do domestic type jobs mainly when the chickens in the back garden have been had, if possible i use any dead chickens or parts of that are left but i have caught them on rabbit, pigeon, fish, cat/dog food, tuna fish(can of) i even had one that was digging up the garden where the customer had put blood, fish and bone fertilizer down and i caught him by using this at the back of the trap. just keep changing baits and you will get him
  3. i`ve reared your basic cobb type birds and on free range they are preety good i also breed light sussex chickens which are supposed to be a egg and table bird but they dont fattern that well i would say the best traditiional breed for the table is a dorking or a cross from one

  7. i got the delux bee jacket from killgerm, why its delux i dont know but it seems o.k i got it in xlarge so theres a bit more room for crawling around in attics etc: i also got a webbing belt to hold it tight around the middle. is it worth me getting some trousers with elasticated bottoms (will they get up there )? how often do you find they attack, i have done a couple over the years in my own garden with permethrin ant powder with no suit i just did a couple of puffs then legged it, but i guess this is different than the odd time when you are stuck in an attic with the little blighte
  8. yea this is my first year on it i`m looking forward to it but am sure it can get a bit hairy at times Well its not so bad, apart from when you get an awkward one in a loft and you pop that torch light on and there is a wheelbarrow size nest covered in wasps looking at ya! All the wasps are up for it saying "cmon then you f**cker" You know the types, they are pointing at thier arses and saying "f**k you" Yea its not so bad... Make sure you take some photos or better still pop a youtube video up of your first nest Be carefull of these feckers the one at the bottom looks

  16. Unfortunately, the common pest control courses fail to teach people enough about different formulations and application techniques Ratsnatcher. I've seen technicians who've come straight off an RSPH course, who have no idea what a crack and crevice treatment really involves and have passed their RSPH. The issue of insecticide application training is woefully inadequate in the pest control industry. Personally, I believe that the PA qualifications are far more suitable for this type of work, and the trainers could learn lots from it. For example, very few pest controllers understand t
