  7. i would like to do no ladder work thats why i brought all my extentions for the dr5 and a dustick but i get alot of nests where i just cant seem to get the angle from the ground ie velux windows and if theres only a narrow path and fence by the side of the house, i have to put ladders up to the eves and treat from there using the extendible lance that you suggested i get(good call there matt ) and you were right about the dr5 to i think its far better than the dustick quicker and easier when up ladders or on the ground, i got a small tyre compressor to pump it up from 12v socket(piece of pe

  10. Trapperman I've just bought a telestep ladder from Killgerm they have an offer on at the moment telesteps are £150 normally around £200 and you get a free bag which they normally sell for about £30, (probably get them cheaper if you shop around)they reach about 3.3 metres which probably is't high enough to reach over house gutters etc but I wanted them for loft access etc. Andy it was the killgerm offer that got me thinking about them, are they good and sturdy.
  11. I gave her the treble 8 for doing the top half, knew there was a good reason for marrying a yorkshire lass plus she's a great cook, she dont mind the hunting, plus all manner of "dead stuff" I bring home, she can kill, pluck and cook chickens no probs, good in bed too, what more could a guy want is she foldable and telescopic
  12. yes it was the extending telescopic type i was looking at.
  13. i dont know if i trust bungee cords when i`m doing 120 mph down the A40 (only joking i`ve got a 2.4 hilux). trouble is i like to know my ladders are safe when i`m not in sight of my truck there are w###kers out there that will steal the fillings out your teeth.
  14. i get a bit fed up sometimes of unlocking and unwinding my ladder clamps on the roof bars plus the extra wind noise. was looking at the extendible type they are expensive so thought i would ask of your thoughts on them if you have used them before. cheers.
  15. you`re right there mate its a shame that this country forces honest hard working people to be dishonest just to pay the bills. makes you wonder where it will end and what state we will be in in a couple of decades.
  16. does that good feeling from "earning" actaully make you feel any better. YES , thats the attitude that made this country great!..........once this country is great........................................................................a great big pile of shit. i`ve got a mate who was made redundant a few years back he lives in a council house and they paid his rent, bills etc plus benifits he was nearly a hundred quid a week better off out of work than in, he just laughed and said hes never going to work again. it shouldnt be that easy. wont be long before theres so many
