  1. Nothing wrong with him asking for it back, but once you said no and gave your reasons he should've accepted it and walked away. You did the right thing on all counts, especially the main one which is your kids happiness.
  2. The end of a budding romance?
  3. Second thoughts, it wasn't in a Badger cull area was it?.......Could've been an anti lying in wait under the cow shit ready to jump out and stop a kill
  4. He must've had smelly feet for them to put a bag over those too ......... Or did you stumble upon a weird kinky sex game? ............ Or maybe it's just a load of bollocks?
  5. Hope I'm never on a level crossing when you're approaching! I use red or amber. I find red sometimes helps with Foxes or Rabbits that've been lamped before. An amber filter doesn't reduce the beam length as much as other colours, and cuts through any mist better. I personally find that amber also gives a better contrast which makes spotting at distance easier
  6. Think you've got it spot on . Probably couldn't take anymore of living alongside some veggie, antis?
  7. I may be wrong, but he does seem to be a little retarded
  8. Freshly killed carcases of just about anything I catch (Rats excepted). This was last nights tea.
  9. I often see them too.........They're called Ducks . But as for the original post, I doubt the average RSPCA officer would actually know the difference between a Raccoon Dog and a lap Dog
  10. You say that he looks pitiful but also that he's fit as fire, so It could just be that you're very concerned about your Dogs (no bad thing), so it's making you see it worse than it actually is. But if in doubt, get him back to the vet.
  11. Well meaning advice from 'the chap down the road' has been the death of many a dog over the years. As paulus says, it could be a medical issue, so best get it to the vet asap.
  12. It's not the 10 miles that's the bitch but the 4'000ft ascent and 4'000ft descent, lol. Follow the paths I think is most people's advice, any other way and you're gonna end up airlifted off, lol. Oh and aim to get it all done before 8-9am. The paths are like a f*****g motorway after then! Good advice....We set of early but it was still jammed packed and at the start you can be held up as the path is pretty narrow.Gnasher.....When you get there and you climb what i would call the first section which is quite large steps in the rock.....a short arse must struggle here. Lucky i'm not a
  13. Good write up. And you know there's more about to give you some more good nights
  14. Will you watch in a few years time when Darren Fletcher's past it and possibly playing out the last few games of his career at Celtic? I think it'll be a Scotland win by the way.

I've ordered the mohel knife, I've been after something for ages to carve my Walrus Brisket And with the price of petrol I'm seriously thinking about the manual chainsaw.
  19. Another couple of a Common Darter.
  20. They're Moths Malt The bats come in after the moths! Ahhh....That explains it These are the best I've managed They're all Soprano Pippistrelles except for the second to last which is a Daubentons plucking an insect from the surface of the beck.
  21. I don't believe that for one minute! If asked to remove some Badgers that were causing damage, Brian may would simply inform you that Badgers don't do any damage, it'll be the farmers that are the problem
