+1 for blackcircles I shopped around a few months ago and they were the best price by far. I got 5 General grabber AT 2's for £150 cheaper than quickfit or NE tyres & exhausts could do. Delivered and fitted locally, and when I went back to collect my vehicle they'd even cleaned it and given it a full safety check. I'll certainly be using them again.

I don't mind either of them but there's always one thing about Ray Mears.... His clothing always looks brand new, clean, and pressed even if he's 'been out' for days

Kenny is there any specific make of call that they come to that your using? I use a variety of different calls, but over the years I would say that I've personally had most come to a 'Fox call'. I've been using a Foxpro electronic caller for a couple of years now, and they also come well to that. Last year I placed the caller at about head height on a quarry face, then sat about 70 yards away and set it calling using a Field Mouse distress call. Within a couple of minutes there were six pairs of eyes sat on the rocks peering down at it, all tawnys, and the closest was almost sat on top

I regularly get Owls coming to the call. Tawnys seem to come in to investigate most of the calls, but Barn Owls seem to mostly come to the higher pitched squeeking sounds.

Excellent And I for one hope they get their wish granted

She could've at least done it in the aisle where the toilet rolls are

You lucky b***ards! This was my first computer And the worst thing was, I still couldn't figure out how to use it properly
-
That explains the 'I'm watching you!' look on it's face

A good walk out there . That terrier looks as though it really enjoys having it's photo taken!
-
Nice brush too

On that basis, there'd be very few jokes about would there? And I'm sure if anyone had experienced that, then they certainly wouldn't have read the post, as the title really says it all! P.S. It's not too late to add something to your xmas list..........................................like a sense of humour!

Well please, please promise you'll talk to someone before you follow the above instructions..... :D

You obviously don't speak Spanish! I'll translate for you then you'll see: Right at the beginning, when he comes out of the house he says 'FFS woman, can't you work your dog yourself?', and she replies 'F**k off, it's the only excercise you've had in months you fat, lazy b***ard!' Then when he lifts the dog out the second time he groans and says 'All this running around and bending down's making me feel ill, I think I'm having a heart attack'. Her reply's hard to make out clearly, but sounds something like 'I keep f***ing praying!' he then says 'yes I've heard you, I've also heard you f***

Obviously its a bit of a wild statement.......what i mean apart from a great work ethic and dedication theres nothing you need to be born with( natural talent ) to make a great cyclist.......yes i feel pretty much anyone with the correct mindset and physical capability could reach the top of that sport....but the reality is that win at all costs mentality is very rare. You say about putting in as much effort but lacking that vital ingredient......but what is that ingredient ? its not skill/talent.........so all it can really be is either a physical or mental attribute........i mean how much i

I suppose that rather illustrates what I said earlier. It can't be said you didn't try.

I like your views on this subject i totally agree as regards genetics hence,Phil Taylor was born a darts player.....Cavendish wasnt necessarily born a cyclist....no matter how hard Phil Taylor worked if he wasnt born with that talent he wouldnt of reached the top.....Cavendish could reach the top regardless of talent and thats my sticky point about cycling. Yes people are running faster, jumping higher etc.......but not because a new type of sythetic kevlar or some other material has been developed ....swimmers are going faster due to physical improvements in sports science/nutrition etc etc.

It's said that Christmas is the most stressful time of the year, so if it all gets a little too much for you and you decide you need to end it all, here's a way to commit suicide and really impress people at the same time................
-
errrr now let me think.....a cyclist today will be doing faster times than a cyclist of 30 years ago....due to todays technology......hence the entire " sport " is governed by events nothing to do with sport ie technological research....... obviously im being a bit facetious about it ( thats a good word for me im pretty sure it does exist )..................i have respect and admiration for any athlete who reaches the top of their game....though i do think theres different levels of pureness with sports. People are also running faster, jumping higher, and farther than they were 30 year

You're probably right there tomo, but some traditional bows are still used. It's also noticable when having a go at archery at any of the country fairs or other places, people with the better upper body strength handle the bow much better than even very fit people with less upper body strength. To change the note slightly, we shouldn't forget that sports can cause some very nasty injuries, such as the one below. And I'm sure no one would wish that to happen while they were sitting behind them
-
by that definition then, neither darts or archery are a sport?? I'd disagree. Both darts and archery maintain and improve physical fitness (darts minimally, though a long tournament tests both mental and physical endurance), are competitive, winners are identified by objective means, and certainly require a level of skill. Regarding archery, skeletons of bowmen can easily be identified by the arm bones being enlarged, therefore carrying larger muscles.

Agree with you there. It seems to happen often.. 'Mmmm...yes I know it's wrong but he's very talented,!!

I think it's a matter of opinion as to what can be truly termed a sport, but this is the general definition of a sport: Sport is all forms of physical activity which, through casual or organised participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical fitness and provide entertainment to participants. Sport may be competitive, where a winner or winners can be identified by objective means, and may require a degree of skill, especially at higher levels.
