    Lad I work with and also go to college with got a defender 90 double cab pickup. Drinks fuel like fk and cost him 3.5 grand to insure for the first year, cracking offroad truck tho although a load of keepering students going round town gets some funny looks its great for cruising aswell haha

    Cheesey chips the dog bulls go have fun mucker and wined dave balintin up so funny Im there at the moment doing first diploma will be on same as you next year. girls- bit of a mix but fairly easy bar shuts too early and is well hot on ID Rack and manger has shut down, we obvs didnt go enough Winch is a gd laugh on a friday but again hot on ID college life is a fcking good laugh especially as assuming your under 18 and living in you'll be in flindt block with me and the other lads. you'll fcking love it mate

    Hi guys, havent posted for a while due to lots of college assignments and various sh1t going on so appologies for tht. As some of you may know I am at Sparsholt college doing a game and wildlife managment course My reason for the post is that me and a few mates frm my course signed up for a 3 hour a week course in animal first aid focusing on dogs, cats and ferrets and we had our first session today and i got the feeling we pissed off the lecturer a tad because we were discussing wound cleaning and dressing and through the whole 3 hours we were just telling her how any minor cuts to do wi

    If you dont like the look of over unders why not get yourself a clay shooting lesson and phone them up in advance and ask if the have a side by side you can have a go with. if you get on with it then get yaself one, if ye dont get on with it get an over under

    As already said the price of your first gun is what your willing to pay. I got a lincholn o/u 12bore ejector at the gamefair for £100 (Cheap as chips) And i also picked up a Baikal single barrel 12bore for £15 at sportsmanguncentre in dorset the other week so it just goes to show you can get a gun for any price if ou look in the right places. One word of advise though. Dont buy a gun because it looks nice and is in your price range. Buy a gun that fits you properly as you cant shoot with a gun that doesnt fit you and you will get put off.

    Sorry to hear about your stroke mate. I cannot reccommend the Cooey more highly to a beginner or intemediate shot. I have one myself. Also Added bonus is you can put any calibre barrel up to 10bore on a cooey .410 action hence why the breech is quite thick metal. Good luck with the sales mate

    I think if there is a fleur de-lis (spelling) on stamped on the barrels then It proofed for steel but i would wait for someone to verify this because im not 100% sure.

    Hi guys. I have on order just one box of tungsten cartridges for my 12bore just to try them out but I realised I may have a problem. My gun is not proofed for steel shot so does this mean I cant shoot tungsten with it? cheers. Jake

    I suppose its probably instinct from when they had to hunt to survive they would drag the rabbit out the burrow to take it back to its own to eat it.

    Some ferrets just do that sometimes. I had a polecat Jill which unfortunately i had to give away to a mate due to moving away to sparsholt college. She used to pull the rabbit out either by the head or sometimes hold the front leg(s) and drag it out. She never once killed and layed up but she always dragged the rabbit out if it was dead although she tried her best to bolt the rabbit and never layed up. So yeah i guessed its just a thing some ferrets do. dont complain about it as it may be a great help to you.

    Its just under 4 and a half grand a year for accomodation but you have a food card that you use in the canteen(s) and burger van to get food every day, It works out about 30 quid a week which is easy to live on because you will be going to tescos and buying food as well to take with you on practicals. Its well worth the expense though as Sparsholt is recognised as THE BEST college for Game and wildlife in the UK.

    My advise to you is to find an estate to help on for this season beating, dogging in, feeding etc and work through the summer then apply for Sparsholt college to do game and wildlife. I am currently on a level 2 diploma there, living in accomodation on campus and f*****g loving it. That way you have experience and most importantly a qualification. By they way I have just got in from the weekly disco in the bar and its fecking emmense, you will not regret it if you come here. Look into mate and good luck any questions just ask and I will try to point you in the right direction

    Hi guys . Reason for posting is because all the lads at college doing gamekeeping dont believe me that its possible to squeek/call in hares I have seen it done with my own eyes by my mate who i shoot with fairly regularly. Has anyone on here heard of this or tried this before and did it work?

    Animals and people are completely differant so no thats is not acceptable But as many people have already said I personally as do many others take photos of the bag as a way of remembering the day but to also share with others the result of a successful day whether it be stalking rabbits with an airgun, decoying pigeons with a shotgun, or deer stalking with a rifle.

    Most of my check shirts are "Regents View" I got them for £7 each at the gamefair. Only problem i found was that they dont do many patterns or colours in small so most of mine are a tad too big for me but its okay if you are tucking them in anyway.
