  1. http://www.countryside-alliance.org/ It does look...WANK very "Fair Trade Coffee" type look
  2. http://vid93.photobucket.com/albums/l68/stmdirect/20170128_143116_zpsbvspztp5.mp4 Short clip from yesterday - They put out a few rabbits early morning, no catches for the lurchers - The young Teckel got a rat and then they both run a fox to ground late in the afternoon And my mate doing all that go on, shssssshhhh crap in the background! He never stops
  3. Plenty of puppy peddlers but there are a few lads keeping, working and breeding them for the right reasons.
  4. I never post too much on here, so I got a few photos last night - This is my dog pup out of my old bitch. He is nearly a year old and still a chubby puppy, I have had him out lamping a time or two - We took a spin out last night and had a good old walk and bagged a few rabbits. He was messing around retrieving the last night we were out, but thankfully he was back to his old self last night, He is very soft mouthed.
  5. I like the old flat cap! All greasy and shiny on the inside!!
  6. I don't think they're designed for daily use to be honest. Nice comfortable wellies but way too expensive to use every day and wear out. More for folks who shoot and get ferried about in range rovers I'd say your right, those "peg" types!!
  7. I've tried all types and there all shite, but I bought a pair of those le chameau affairs with a zip last year, and there shite too....the zip came clean off two weeks ago
  8. Great sport, bread flies work well
  9. A day like that do nobody any harm...always something to pick up

  11. Standard size, the one pictured has no spectacular breeding but he is handy enough for bushing and stuff, my other pup is 7 months and bred from a good working line in south of Ireland, his dam and sire were dug too regularly.
  12. This one is just over two year old
  13. I have two, there good enough for bushing
  14. I still have the paper cutting, very unfortunate
  15. Andy Kelly in charge of security and finance
  16. I don't really think this is something that can be trained in the dog as such, although like everything else when it comes to training, positive reinforcement for a good mark won't hurt. You will learn to recognise the dogs mark in the same way you know when it's time to lift your ferrets - they behave in a certain way. Mabel will physically stick her head down a hole with good scent (and if the hole is big enough half her torso too) so it's an obvious one, other dogs may be a bit more subtle. Have a look at the 2 videos I put up in the write ups section, I've shown her marking on both of
  17. Im glad to see other people's fought...I had about 20 in a large shed and they fought constantly, and even killed one - I ate them off a few at a time...
  18. Francie, they cut the last of it out at the point a few years ago round the tower - You will get some at Benone, its good walk behind the hills and towards the downhill, you will be as far as the nature reserve
  19. Used to be a lad on here not far from Dublin did a lot of falconry and kept lurchers too...I can't remember his name, he always posted great photos
  20. It depends what the "grade" is...I know lads who will always bring out the best in a dog...maybe not interested in one quarry but excels at another... And I know others who seem to do nothing but buy dogs, swap and sell dogs...every new one is a legend, every old one a wanker...
  21. Its been two weeks since George Michael had one....
