  9. I brew quite a lot, mostly beer now but do the odd wine and sometimes I ferment straight wash to 20%, clear it and add a flavour, the best I've found is Cuban rum essence which costs about 2.50 and will you a 750cl bottle of good tasting 20% rum "style" which tastes good with a drop of coke and ice and less than £4 for a 750cl. Average beer works out about 35p a pint and if you go a bit more upmarket maybe 45p. It's enjoyable and commercial beer tastes like piss when you make your own proper stuff because that's exactly what it is. Commercial breweries churn out some real crap, Bu

  14. Rob, I messed with Drop Nets many times and have found that unless it is something you really really need to do they are a very expensive way to catch rabbits. At one time I had a job of netting rabbits just off a football pitch and the surrounding lights made proper long netting very difficult I used the set up below and it worked well - I have used it a few times since. I used a quick set long net - Undid the foot line from the pole and knotted on a good heavy purse net ring, while the net was run out. I then put the ring back over the pole and slid the net up and bunched up the
  15. a true classic it is Sometimes keeping it simple is the way, though I like the look of what's going on your sarnie....I could eat that now!A couple of fried eggs on toast with a bit of salt and pepper and lug of brown one of my favourites ...don't really do the belly busters anymore. ....I'd eat that in a jiffy though GL looks good Sometimes I'll just be eating two poached eggs with a slice of bread & butter.........& thinking does it get much better? :-)Fresh eggs poached on toasted bakery bread with just bit of pepper hmmm and salt Waiting on the Green Lurchers cook book!
