  2. I've saw a few Irish terrier whippets...I like them
  3. They are tasty eating.... So I've heard
  4. Few dents, few scrapes, three alloys, no horn, window winder broken....dog hair throughout, few rabbits forgotten about behind the drivers seat, no breather and she will be right!
  5. Tomo, It fell off so many times I stopped putting it back on, hasnt had one for years! Theres a pipe or two off in round that area too but she keeps running! Great you got yours onto the Moor! I would well believe it, I have got mine into some places and scrapes!
  6. Must get you lifted in the off roader some night for a run out, when the ground is right of course! I even have my exhaust all welded up!!
  7. Yeah, Pat is a real gent,he used to come to Ireland a lot.
  8. I lost my old lurcher this time last year....they leave a big hole
  9. I cover everything with a contract I made that can be changed to suit any job, anything more than a day is 50% up front as well... Once bitten...
  10. Great magazine, always look forward to it!
  11. Your lesson has been learned.... Better being caught for a smaller job than a big one. I got caught by a very big company two years ago with a rabbit job and had to take them to court...I did get paid in the end but it was a headache. Get everything in writing no matter how small. I have some template type contracts that you can fill in for different jobs, I will email them to you...they have covered me a few times.
  12. One of the best ever....I love it. Ken loach has released his films onto YouTube for everyone to enjoy.
  13. Brilliant book! One of my all time favourites
  14. Hard to see here - But I run out 2 x 100yrd nets....The area to the front of the net was light up with those orange street lights, so coming in to drop the net was out of the question. It did take a week or so for the rabbits to be confident enough to come under the net, but they did, they did and the net worked well... I took these in two nights using it, three drops each night
  15. Mad4it I wouldnt hassle myself with all that motor nonsense....Run the net out on the drop, take the bottom grommet or lamb ring off, bunch up the net and hold it with a clothes peg....Then when it has been out a few days to let the rabbits get used to it, slip from behind and walk along steady and slowly, and take off each peg and then you cant bant it in....It worked well for me on a very awkward place that was too well light to drop normally.
  16. Same as a Berlingo, engine and chassis - Just a different badge
  17. Lol that sounds like the old hilux off top gear. Can't be killed. Haha. What reg is that? Are the newer berlingos as good? 2010-2012 shape? My one is 2002....Pretty old, The new ones I am unsure...My friend has a vegetable business and bought three 2002 models brand new which he drover into the ground, the last done 310,000 - He replaced them all with new 1.6 HDI models and had a lot of trouble with them, so much so he traded them back for used 1.9 straight diesels, two still running A lot of people say the 1.6 HDI isn't as good as the 2.0 litre, but its hard to say unless you

  19. Berlingo 1.9 - Mine has done 260,000 no bother, still going...It has no window winders, doesn't lock, no speakers, but it has done 260,000 miles and never stopped...Took me everywhere hunting with the dogs, carried everything from deer to concrete blocks....It beat a snow plough in a heavy drift on the mountain, got out of the bog when a discovery was towed, I crashed it into a river and its still going....no breather, pipes hanging off everywhere, exhaust made from welding rods....Unbeatable!
  20. Really second gear LOL what do you run on allotments ? As good as, all small fields here!
