    hi in the 80s i owned 7 jack russel terrors of the small kind and they were awsome even tho i only ever caught rabbits with them they never let me down.i think it if i ever went back to terriers i would get jrts again top dogs

    hello need to start breeding them i can drive 30 40 mile and not see one.i also no of one land owner that shoots all hares to keep people from going on with dogs sad eh

    went to collect my dog today he was aving his teeth out and was i glad to see him dropped him of at 9 this morning and picked him up at 4.30.he come threw to me in a sorry old state like he had been on the drink all day god love him.hope its the last time at the vets for anything although he is 10 fingers crossed.

    hello kay my old grey from yrs ago new how to do one when i let her of she was gone and i mean gone 8 or 10 fields later when she was knackered thats the only time i could get her.i must ave lost 2 stone trying to catch her

    eventually got my dog in the vets after smashing his front cannine whilst catching a rabbit and after seeing the vet told me he will ave to get other teeth out aswell bit of an age thing.will find out 3.30 today how it went he will be on wine gums for a few days

    hi everyone was told the other day coz some sheep had got stranded by rising water the police and rspca were out they wouldnt let the farmer get them as it was to dangerous and was told of the rspca if any of the sheep died he would be prosecuted for cruelty and whatever else they could find. crazy stuff what was he supposed to do

    went out last nite windy as ever went to an old bit of land had a good walk before we come across some rabbits.anyhow got one run and the dog went to get hold of it went into a ditch and bowled himself right over got up and got hold of the rabbit.we ended the nite with 2 got up this morning and noticed my dogs tooth was poking out of its mouth.went to the vets and was nearly decked £210 am thinking of getting false ones for him.

    me and ma mate went out wasnt expecting to see much it was a bit to still no wind bumped into a fox shon it a field away thought we would ave a look anyhow seen as there wasnt much about.got to the nxt field and there it was sitting in the middle of SHEEP bold as brass sheep making lots of noise so decided to leave it and went to look for sum bunnies

    thats a good repply skycat. but i whould ad that its the matureity of the dog aswell dont sicken a young dog if it cant catch give it less runs in a night & as sead only easy ones. its not always takeing the dog out to often that couses problems but giving the dog to meany hard runs in a night aswell both can destroy a good pup. i would agree about the autumn rabbits but it depends if where you go the rabbits get run all summer or not. yeah get it out as much as you can on those pesky rabbits the more you are out the more it will learn plus its all exciting for it at that age

    hi i have i put a picture of him on here a while ago will try and find it.i went to bishop auckland to get him thats when he told me the father was brother to cruise and he showed me videos of these dogs which were top drawer he was mostly black in colour

    hi i was threatend face to face by a landowner yrs ago coz a so called mate had told him that i had been going on his land. the so called mate told him the reg and colour and what type of car it was then told his gamekeeper pals to get me i went and recruited alot of mates of mine to sort this out although never come to blows

    hi went for a walk on some new ground lastnight wasnt to bad saw a couple of hares far to far away but nice to see had runs on a few rabs tho the ground was up to my knees deep in water in some places.what a nightmare but all in all was ok might go back if it stays dry ha.

    hi way back in the 90s when there was lots of hares around where i live i lamped them.In them days could'nt find any rabbits maybe one or two so had to chace something

    hi was out lastnight and saw 9 rabs and only got a run on one and was out for 1 1/2 hours terrible eh
