    I aint greedy lads the most i had in 1 night was 10 and that was with my mates saluki greyhound dog i borrowed and the average i have a nite is about 5 to six i lamp nearly 6 nights a week weather prevailing My little bull greyhound whippet bitch can have2/ 3 bunnnies off 1 slip when the nights right

    This aint unuserual mate i remember bolting sum kits about 3 christmases ago,if the weather goes slightly mild and theres plenty of food they will be at it like rabbits.I was out in week and there was alot of fur by the warrens which does surgest to me that they have been either fighting or mating or both

    I went out last night had the same my dog was missing them on the 1 field then on the next field 4 1 after the other it does your head in sumtimes but its just sumthin i think we have to put up with they have good nights and bad nights

    ofcourse mate daytimes always better, but a real piss off when people say how easy they are at night,seen some run better at night and some get taken nearly out the seat. all on the hare alone. well f**k it il sell the lurchers and get them lamping collies My 1 dog does have them ou the seat on the lamp then in the next run hes gone 2 fields down with it, i was always taught to respect the hare and i know sumtimes lamping them feels like your not but if there on the field il run them

    Where i live its alot easier to find and to cours hares of a night time plus my dogs are only lamping dogs so thats the reason why i lamp them even though ido agree more with day timing them

    Alot of the time if you mention the word ferret they either are interested or they leave yah alone,im uasaually a stealthy ferreter but this does happen if you end up in sertain spots

    Went out lastnite did sumthin i aint done for along time a spot of night ferreting it was a cold and misty night and i met up with 1 of my mates "Attack fell terrier".we walked to a local haunt of ours like a pair of bandits in the mist armed withjust a hand full of nets and a couple of young gills iv never tried before.The 1st warren i tried was 3 holer under a tree netted up droped the gill in with in seconds "thump thump thump"the 1st 1 bolted the little gill showed went straight back in then the next bolted out the same hole.We then dordulled on to another spot on the side of a road netted

    He reminds me of my mates russells he had 1 called spade with 1 eye he lost her on a dig years ago game dog though very simular i think they originated from dave whitehouse and joe smith lines you cant beat a good russell though
