7s bounce off mmmmm 7s will kill anything 7.5s are a good shell even for high phesants,fast tighter pattern its all about bein a decent shot.point it in the right place and you get kills. 5s,6s,7s,8s, or anything else dunt make the person shoot better, I agree 100% mate that if you are hitting them in the right place you will drop them however these "high" pheasents that you are dropping with 7.5 cant be that high? 6s for pigeon and 5s for pheasents for me. Nothing worse than wounding a bird and not picking it.

I'd rather step in horse shit than dog shit, slight difference in disease risk!! Also is it that hard to spend 30 seconds picking up shit? Al start picking up my dogs shit when i see people getting of there horses and picking up the ton of shit that they leave. However i would not let my dog shit in a public area where children are playing either. Why do local councils in each town/village not set aside a dog walking area where your dog could mess where it liked? No................there to interested in handing out fines to people and making a few cheap bucks

Nice but its hard to get good working line's here in the U.K.. but ya a good choice Atb T 7 Didnt even know they were here in uk mate would love to have 1, am sure its presence would be enough even though it was a big softy.

Well if i am wrong then i stand corrected but as i say i have never heard of that complaint before. As in this case there seems to be around the 3500 number released and i would find it hard to believe that a pheasant would ruin a crop when there would be easy pickings in feed bins around the shooting estate.

Why dont you just stick to the pigeons and leave the pheasants/pats' alone? Falling out with the neighbouring shoot on new permission sounds a bit f***ing stupid to me. Dont be greedy dont see how it sounds "f***ing stupid" as the pheasant/partridge are eating the weat/corn AND the farmer specifically said i can and should shoot them if i get the chance. personally i would never do anything to jepradise my shooting permition. thasnks for your concern. 1st time i have heard of pheasants needing shot because the damage they are doing to crops. Rearing equip' would be price but it pays to spend a bit on the right food especially if you are starting from day olds. All suppliers send round a rep[usually] to get your business but if you are happy where you are then you may as well stay. -

They actually do alot of good mate. If you put them in the pens when you release the poults they help the poults to roost quickly. just the reply i was hoping for is there a preferable breed to use mate .. Dont think so mate a chicken is a chicken. Think we used 'leghorns' of some description but dont quote me on that. As i say a chicken is a chicken to me. Oh and once the poults are up and about the chicken doesn't half taste bad either.

I would say there are more than people think? Seems to me you cant do shit now without somebody shooting you down. If you take a picture of a fox,hare or deer that you have killed then you are made out to be scum and 'trying to be hard'. If you are worried about losing THL due to illegal pictures then you have a point but if you have a problem with the way someone choses a past-time then you.............................................................ARE AN ANTI!!!!!

I find that a good shake is enough to sort them out. No matter how well trained a dog is it will always push the boundaries with you more so if they know there not going to get a whack for it.

Well i do both...large commercial shoots and small syndicate shoots where i pick up or beat. On the small syndicate shoot it is a friend of mine and i am happy with a brace of birds but on the commercial shoot i would be expected to be paid, vets bills aren't cheap you know.
