    My experience with these banks (one was about 300 holes could'nt tell where one warren stopped and another started, 3 of us with about 200 nets moved along from behind us) has been to purse net the whole lot otherwise you will have the rabbits out of one hole and into another and not catch a bloody thing, its a hard days work but if there are that many rbbits in there it will be worth it. As previously said by others wait till the undergrowth dies back in the Autumn.

    I agree totally, there are places I shoot that have less than tolerant neighbours. With a moderator on the .22 or hmr they don't even realise I'm there. Specially important for early/late shooting. Do you not get the sonic bang then with the 17HMR or are your neighbours deaf?

    Before anybody goes into one these ferals are countryside farm ferals living off the land not manky street pigeons, i have fed collared doves and woodies to my ferrets from the same farm with no ill effects, does anybody else feed these ferals to their ferrets? by the way i have not yet fed any although i have shot quite a few over the last few months and it seems a waste leaving them for the fox's.

    Does anybody here worm their ferrets ? one of my jills has become quite thin, she's on the move all the time in the hutch so maybe just loosing weight through that.

    Peanut butter as well, been baiting with it on a brick (so they dont run off with it) and shooting them also 1 in a Little Nipper type trap baited with p.b on a peice of bread.
