  3. Just went to reset a Fenn mk4 in a different position in the garden where i think a rats coming through in my eagerness to deactivate it i lost concentration and let the jaws go catching two fingers of my right hand in there at which point i jumped and the safety catch shot over and stuck fast in middle finger of my left hand could'nt move either hand (how i laughed) so had to call the wife to pull the hook out of said finger, just as well somebody was there or i would have been stuck Still wont do that again eh.
  4. they are specially bred white doves i think because they have eyelids like doves, are they are pure white but they are not originally from the farm they just turned up and started breeding (like doggers ) so i was called in to get rid of some. the jackdaws there are smarter when i went back to get the pigeons later without the gun they hopped round me. i am going to smoke those crowns tomorrow and see what they are like atb rob Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie, so they used to eat them, you'll have to post the result Think you'll find they were rooks.

Starting in Aug is the new tv channel just for fieldsports Countrysports tv. have a look at this promo that they have put together, it changes every few days to give you a taste of whats going to be shown. http://www.fieldsportschannel.tv/yoursport/foxshooting/
  15. cheers, the net in the picture (with my daughter) was brought second hand, for £130 100yds with double bagging and inc poles and basket, and it really is a lovely net to use, the opposite side nets were made up by myself, using poles and basket from MAGNUMS, 25yd and 40yd, Im toying with the idea of removing the poles, as I have another 100yd longnet sitting in the shed i'd do it for free, where i am anyways, there is no rabbits left. Too many people take the lot instead of a couple. Thats the general idea when people are pest controlling.

Try this: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...=cheap+drop+net good luck. G. Gollum read all the posts on your thread, Mick Mansbridge did do some drop netting on one of his vids he used gas barrel though. How did you get on with your efforts, did you post another thread on the subject?
