Good luck mate i got my first springer 25years ago and brought it up like a terrier she was a good cover dog and flushed evrything it was only later i realised that getting them steady and a 100pct recall can be benificial so dont be in too much of an hurry to get her working.atb dell ps was she bred local mine are bred from a lad at kilnurst nr mexbourough. yes mate locally bred

cant believe d***s like this are getting into the game makes me sick.if this is a trend im afraid to say real dog men are f****d.if it starts happening in all the cities and towns the news and press will run with this like the dangerous dogs act.f*****g unbelievable.

i just do it the way you said mate by plucking the breast feathers and cutting the breast meat out, just use a sharp knife mate, i do it like that every time works for me. atb mexlad. -

right,picking my springer up in a couple of weeks,i have got a couple of DVDs and started reading a few books but is there anything you experienced guys know now that you wish you knew when you were first starting out with spaniels.any advice would be great. all the best mexlad.

just read the edrd article by colin didriksen "i don't believe you!".its on about his mate who tells him that his dog killed nine daytime hares, proper courses not out of there seats and he doesn't believe him.just wondered whats the most daytime hares you know of or heard of a dog catching, pre ban. all the best mexlad.
