My apoligies sir, it has come to my knowledge that you are a old member of thehuntinglife. sorry for the abuse just a bit sick of people coming on here with three posts and slagging the site down. 3. Well that staff look svery lean....just my opinion i think its out of shape. Stabs i agree with you to a certain point...but i do think your dogs look in better shape than that dog. im trying to find a good picture of my staff from the side but i will say you can count about 4 or 5 ribs on her. I personally think she works better with that extra pound on her. The thing what pisses me off is the staffs you see on the streets now...like pot bellied pigs .....anyway im moving off the point here. this pic doesn't do her any justice as this is after she had to layup for a few weeks as she

  9. Seans true mate, the gulf stream is getting slower....and without that..very cold winters. this is dur to one of the worlds 'engines' what moves the gulf stream. Something to do with the warm water rising to the top and cold water going to the bottom of the oceans. So as the cold water is running out, the warm water 'Conveyor belt' of the gulf stream is slowing down....and with the gulf stream usually bringing us5-8 oCthan we should have........if it stops we will be very cold in the winter and very warm in the summer. This would be chaos for britains wildlife.....Not bad for a fifteen year
  10. I don't know if he did, have you been out with tarmac lately?? No, im sure he won't rush them into out though. Just a little problem when we take all three dogs at once the other two we don't slip seem to yap a bit, but there fine when laming solo....Jealousy??? staffy-01

  13. like the look of her, i noticed your bitch has a straight tail. My staff has a tail like a handle on a well with a curve at the end. DO you know why?, could it possibly be bred with another dog??...... staffy-1
  14. iv got the mk3, bu not the pinpoint one. If you take time to read it and practice i think it is a excellent piece of kit. staffy-1
  15. Thanks fellas, aye i know i was in a bit of a rush doing that. She hunts the cover up real well, i do use her sometimes for ferreting she marks up rabbits 100% but the only problem is she kills ferrets lol. Shes a bit on and off for marking foxes, she has only started working since she was around two years old. When i got her from the rehoming kennels she was really out of shape with no muscle tone and even friendly with cats and pet rabbits. I kept on persevering to take her out with my mates dogs digging, working cover etc. until one day it just clicked, she was a bit hesitant at first
  16. They seem to be hares, even though them dogs are not the fastest they are stamina machines
  17. hmmm.....226 views and only one reply.......thats why i don't post much staffy-1
  18. Thanks mate, we have mainly run them on soft fields, but that night we couldn't as the surrounding fields what we could do are heavily keepered and the owners of the golf course don't mind. hey mate, did the litter all turn out to be brindles and fawns?? just wonderin i think so, i forgot but i think there were 7 brindles and three fawns. I can't really answer that mate, but i think it varies in all types of half crosses i.e taking to the bull too much.
  19. The lamp does look extremely big on that picture doesn't it, Aye i was just talking to my friend about only whippets would catch on that golfcourse. Forgot to mention we did a few fields aswell which holds the odd rabbit, fawn bitch nearly caught she has a real turn of speed on her for a small dog. The dogs are straught cross and heres the mother and father Mother in pup^^
