    This will be a good night for all not just the terrier boys as the auction will hopefully raise some good money with different days shooting also up for grabs... Someone will probably get a good day on a really good estate shooting and all goes to charity.. Shame to miss it !!

    FFS . . . just to put the record straight... the dogs marked well and 1 dog was entered and dug to.. even though it turned out to be a mute dog after Ali had told me it was a mixer?? other dogs had a shake after the fox was humanley dispatched.. And yes the fox was a very big fox.... one of the biggest i have ever dug to...... Now all the doubters and questioners f..k off back to your books.. Dog did well and payed for it..... good day out ..

    Have to agree fireworks are a nightmare for a pup. Stick her in with another dog for a few nights if you have trustworthy one, should do the trick.

    At the end of the day if its digable and on permission you drop a dog in !! if he dont want to then there dogs proabably aren't up to scratch. Should be no excuses?? You can only find out if its a hard earth or not unless you try it. some run straight up and are easier than you think.. no point going out unless you try it..

    Hello mate i have buck lines and there as direct from buck as you could really get... the old dogs sire of mine was off max buck . . . .theyre smooth though not rough like yours. . . . mainly big strong dogs no good for small spots or rocks.... they dont start too early or i should say i dont start them early and usually start hard then level out . . . . look at some old topics of mine there all buck stuff not puttin pics up all been seen before. . . Is it a pup you rgettin or a 12month plus??? Be wary of buying someones older crap . . . good luck

    Hope the dogs ok pal .. . as for what to do for another i would persoannly wait and get college out of the way and then decide what you really want, either a bushin / rabbit dog, or a digging dog. Cant really have both in the same dog. Also you would have more time for it when you have done . . good luck with it all..good to se the young uns mad for it!!!

    Cheers for all the offers of help lads ... still nothing the mate has been out all day again today and put up a few posters around the houses in area... out tomorow with a couple of lurchers.. the steel works at the back of the Asda but further over towards Rawmarsh end .. We live in hope!! Suprising how many local lads to us on this site... Good luck in finding her its a big area would she cross the river do you think it might help narrowing the search down.atvb dell Bitch found !!!! Thank f4ck ...after nearly 3 days to ground the bitch was found by her litter brother in an earth

    Firstly if hes going to ground get a collar on it now and every time you out (see lost bitch thread!!) then discourage rabbit hunting as much as possible if you are serious about using the dog as a digging dog..But the thing that will mess with your head most is that some rabbity spots hold old charlie boy regular... you will soon learn to tell the difference between a bunny and a fox hiding in a bunny spot.... just try to keep him out of chasing bunnies or thats all he will want to do..

    Title says it all putting this on for a mate of mine who has lost his red bitch. He was walking up some rough ground to us yesterday afternoon and the bitch went missing in cover and never came back, he was out all night calling her with no sign. The area is in the Rawmarsh area in south yorshire near the back of the old steel works. I have attached a couple of photos and there are a couple in my gallery. Her name is Gem a 4 year old bitch, she is easy to identifiy as she has a dark patch on her side which was a birth mark about 2inch square... Anyone finds herplease pm as there will definatle
