    Went out lamping monday night. first run of the night ! right on a bunny and just about to nail it hidden tree stump in a clump of grass. bit of a gutter but she's ok after a few stitches thanks to topper. Would like to say a big thanks for sorting her out for me and will be over in the week your a top bloke. thanks. looks like her season is over now but she was coming on a cracker this season and bring on next year

    had my grew out last week for a spot of ferreting without nets, she gets a few and keeps her sharp. getting better at it and its getting her to use her nose a bit. crap pics but only a cheapy camera and a nightmare trying to get pics of them catching bolters

    im in north somerset will keep an eye out. apparently the dogs (strays) in the south of somerset go to st giles kennels in taunton for rehoming. loads of lurchers on there. if there found in the north somerset area. they go to weston rspca or bristol dogs home. good luck

    my brother has one mate. she is a collie whippet x type. heres a old photo shes about 2.5 years now. sire was a working collie. not sure if damn was whippet or lurcher. very good bushing and ferreting dog, takes her beating aswell.

    I have one mate a collie grey x whippet (mike brown stuff ) , good little lurcher 24 tts. could do more than rabbits if wanted. good little hunter. I got him for rabbiting, ferreting, mooching but he has other ideas. go for it get yourself one. try and get biggest pup in the litter if your hoping to do a bit more than rabbiting, and hope for the best.

    tried lots of diff types of dry food eg gain, redmills etc. but dogs seem to look and have plenty of go on CSJ , don't get runny ones. lots of choice aswell. sooper dooper champ 28% protein £13 quid a bag , rocket fuel 30% designed for lurchers it says and sled dogs lol. and can drop to the 23% fish stuff for the summer. give it a go you won't go back.

    I have a collie grey x whippet. Was my first lurcher is a useful dog. finished at 24 tts. a very good X and not just a bunny dog. would reccomend it as first lurcher if from decent working parents. but no dog is the same mate. good luck

    My bro (Rory4) has got a collie whippet first x. he may stick a photo up. I have a collie grey x whippet 24 tts , bit more versatile. ferrets , lamps and moochs and does not let me down and loves to do a bit more. wouldn't be without him
