  1. Have you got any pics of the sire and damn mate ? A mate is very interested in it,
  2. We are not all into hunting hares and running the fens lol, down here its little fields and hedgerows, I don't lamp 3-4 times a week either , fair play if you do but I have a job and would be shagged. Its bit like saying saluki greyhounds are shite at ferreting.....Im not saying they are either because they probably is some good un's. horses for courses and what the lad prefers to run, NO it won't have saluki staminia or the jaw power of a bull cross.... thats pretty obvious isn't it
  3. My bitch is no differen't wind wise from the collie X dogs we run, She's a honest dog and will try her heart out, Brilliant jumper and there not just rabbit dogs.and easy to keep fit. obviously they have good acceleration and and good strike good round holes. She has taken some knocks.... run her through woodlands from a early age Negatives, need alot of good food to keep them looking like a POW, not the best nose either. If I take a pup out of her I will add a bit of collie or beddy to the mix. Coat is ok but not the best..... its not like a whippet coat its denser but she feels the cold
  4. a bloke I know has bought a ridgeback X whippet........ only 10 months old.....yet to see it run or hunt.....I have only seen a few pics.... more racy and up on the toes than I thought
