  1. Yeah, I did not put that in their as a complaint, just cause last time everyone told me to PM him.
  2. I'm looking to buy some complete rabbit snares(peg, tealer, wire). Does anyone know any where that sells them complete? I bought the last load off ebay but the pegs are rotting after 2 uses... P.S I did PM wooga last time(before everyone tells me to again), but I never got a reply. Thanks.
  3. You would shoot someone in the head? And you said that on a public forum? If someone came onto my land and set a snare or fenn, that then killed one of my dogs, you can bet your life I would.
  4. If you snared on my land, I would go for a full prosecution regardless of cost, or just shoot you in the head. Makes no difference it's a pest animal, what if you caught an animal I WANTED on my land? like a dog or cat? Since it's not your land and your just tresspassing you have no idea what animals regularly use the land. You don't know if the land/estate owner has pet cats, dogs or whatever that could be using the land.

  6. Oddly Enough, I took another look at the rabbit with the peg out of the ground, and the neck does appear to be broken. I'm assuming it ran when It saw me and hit the snare at force, it was not stiff when I removed it.
  7. Hi.

    It's an SMK mod 20.

    Thanks

  8. "They should never be set out in or attached to fences, along public footpaths or in the vicinity of a house where there is danger to pets and domestic animals." It's saying not where dometic animals could get caught.
  9. But whats wrong with a shot at point blank range to the brain? they're dead instantly and I don't feel it causes any more stress on the animal than picking it up and breaking it's neck. I would sooner not have to carry the gun round.
  10. The keeper that taught me how to snare a little while ago told me to always aim to break the rabbits neck when you're snaring. I do check them very regularly whitch is proberly why I'm getting some alive.
  11. this is mad i cant belive someone actually invented these what will they think of next indeed No one had invented them, the websites a joke.
  12. I don't really know how to do that, and I don't want to do it wrong and make it suffer if I don't do it right.
  13. Well it was sat there like it was alive, but the peg was out and it could of just ran off. I also kill them with a shot to the head, cause I don't know how to do that thing where you break their necks. I'm % sure it was alive.
  14. Hi. Two options 1. Make your traps way more sensative as soon as he detects the trap it needs to of already been set off. 2. Get a couple of Talpex seeing as they work diffrently. Hope that helps!
  15. I set my snares up at 2.30pm and whent and checked them at 8:30pm and had three rabbits! Something a little odd tho, one was sat there(not really sure if it was dead or alive). But the peg was pulled out of the ground so it could really of ran off... Anyway, I've left the snares up and reset the three that had caught and will check them in the morning.
  16. Well maybe they should go back home and hunt?
  17. Swine flu, and regular flu have the exact same symptoms.
  18. Crypus is very nice, alot better than other places of simlar cost, but oviously not in the leage of Dominican Republic, Bora Bora etc. Mexico is a very good one too, and with swine flu I bet you could pick up a bargin.
  19. Hi. I never whent on a fox hunt, just out of curiousity how many foxes would a hunt usally get?
  20. Hi. I had moles on my field for years and they have made the ground very unlevel(with their tunnels collapsing). the moles are all gone now, but I'm left with a very uneven field, does anyone know how I could level it out? Thanks
  21. Yeah I put them over the middle of a small beat(I read the article on here that said about that) The loops are 6.5 wide/high
  22. Ok, I've been again tonight and still no rabbits... I'm going to explane what I'm doing and maybe someone wil see where I'm going wrong. The field is like mowed grass surrounded on one side by thisles, and the other three by long grass. In both the long grass and thisels you can clearly see rabbits runs, I've been pegging them into the grass and then putting the silver thing that holds the wire next to the run so the loop is over the center of the run at about 6.5 inches high at the bottom of the loop. I've set some deep in the grass and some just inside the long grass/thisels.
  23. Ok lol... I whent down and had 0 rabbits!!! I don't get it, the snare wires have not been moved or pushed or anything. It did rain all night, would that of stopped them coming out? or are they smelling the snare? I'm setting the snares 6.5 inches at the bottom of the loop, is this correct?
  24. Did you use one of those giant lights that displays the bat symbol?
