  1. Oooooh it must be eating you then Now would be a good time to panic...
  2. Blimey, I'd be rich if only I hadn't eaten the wrappers as well...
  3. First shot is an excellent macro, and I love the bluebells (9th pic) My favourite is the girl on the pony. OK, the water is a bit blown out, but that doesn't detract from the shot at all. It suits the mood and B&W was a wise choice Lovely!
  4. the last shot is a bit blurred, but the others are good. I like no 2 & 3 best. The first is good, but the heron looks a bit cramped, prefer it with space for him to dive into if you know what I mean.
  5. I know the answer to the question *smug mode* and I don't need to change him Snap Shot and Sean3513 got it about right
  6. I'd say it's ok because they do have stores where you can collect your order. Also the contact details include what appears to be a genuine address, and there is also a phone no. If a site doesn't list a phone no. or proper address etc then it's right to be wary. I buy a lot of stuff online and rarely have problems. However, returning stuff can be a pain, and delivery charges can add up.
  7. I'd be inclined to get the rentokil out... it looks like a furniture beetle Mind they don't crawl in your ears or you might wake up with a head full of sawdust... ... oh, too late.
  8. Only seen one here too Glad there are still some around.
  9. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
  10. I never said that. However Im sure a few of the dogs I deal with could give most people a run for their money, they do me. The cowardice comes from within my friend, take me to the Bull, Ill kill him when he is weak and cant hold up his head, while he is bleeding from picks in his shoulders and neck, while he is foaming at his mouth, exhausted and running on empty. However, ill not face him when he comes in from the field, fresh and alert, oh no! This is why I like the Rejoneador, skill between the Horse and rider, patience and trust, see how much more "stamina" those Bulls have c
  11. Excellent shots, I love their red eyes!
  12. The first pic is really nice Got a pair of these nesting close by, and they are great to watch.
  13. Nice to see the dogs having fun
  14. I wonder how many of the tourists who enjoy a visit to the bullfighting would get the same buzz from a visit to an abbatoir? I also wonder if they would get the same pleasure from a bullfight if they had a ringside seat in an empty bullring and were made to sit and watch the slaughter at close range without an excited crowd around them? At least in a bull fight the bull's end is relatively swift... the good old "cowboys" know how to get real entertainment out of an animal... (I actually have friends who are genuine cowboys, and I sincerely do not mean to lump them all in the same bracket
  15. Well I guess that would be why they would only want to do it to someone else's photo because they were stealing it... copyright theft happens quite regularly but most pro photographers accept that it happens and don't lose too much sleep over it becaue it's usually only low-res web images.. However, the photographer will probably have the original file with the correct exif data and a thief would find it difficult to prove that he hadn't stolen it.
  16. Altering the camera serial number is not something photographers do, and I can see no reason at all why anyone would want to. I didn't read much about the software, but does it actually allow you to do this? When I post images online I always use the save for web option in CS anyway, which strips all the exif info anyway. However, for agency, magazine pics, etc, I always add a copyright notice and my contact details, and depending on the market the pic is destined for, I might spend a bit of time adding keywords & captions at the same time.
  17. Wish I had one of those in my barn...
  18. Fascinating... Not something you'd expect to find in Folkestone.
  19. I like the matching wellies The shot of the two heads just above the water is one to treasure lovely !
