Nice... love the last two pics

I believe the sigma 18-250 got some good reviews, but I've not tried either lens myself. SIgma are usually pretty good, but can have quality control issues. Had a couple of sigmas in the past but really couldn't get on with them, found they gave too much flare and weren't really sharp at the extremes of the zooms, but for the price... the main gripe with the 18-250 seemed to be the weight... hahahahahaha wimps!!!!!

Some lovely shots there, and it proves you don't always need "good" weather for good photography Nothing like a bit of murkiness for atmospheric pics

Amazing pic. Looks like there is nothing there apart from rocks and ice but then you zoom in and it's like tent city!

if you are really serious about photography a dslr kit like this might be worth a look - http://www.wexphotog...enses/p10001494 I use Canon, but for the price I can't fault this little gem when it comes to image quality... The two lenses mean you have wide angle (18mm) for landscapes, and the tele zoom for action shots. But... no doubt you will soon find that 200mm hasn't quite got the range you need, and a 300 would be nice, and then you will need a spare memory card, battery, maybe a speedlight... and so it goes on. Before you know where you are your wallet is light of a grand!

Canon or Nikon, or one of the other brands even (yes, they do exist)... most modern dslrs have reasonable AF for things like running dogs. The D300 is pretty good, the D200 not quite so good... Other half had one and hated it... snigger

I don't get it at all... It's an amazing shot and can see no problem at all with it. Their argument doesn't hold up at all because there is no clue as to the location. Weird. If I were you, I'd tell them they can't use it on their site anymore! Just had a look on the site - love the cuckoo pics, often hear them, very rarely see them.

Sad to see the farm buildings empty, I could make good use of a barn like that What sort of fuzzy cam do you have? Looks like you have an eye for a pic, a camera upgrade might be a good idea? They are not that fuzzy really...
