  1. Maccas, Stevie direct out of lucky, wat a dog, i slipped him 3 seaons and trus80 yrds plus everytime thats why i used him on our bitch CASSY= pups in profile...he killed plenty. . lucky breding is prob one best out there.

  13. yeah i did pull some up years ago but they were replaced... they were mainly close to road as a sign to say piss off haha, never see any wires bottom end of fields though...
  14. Truly were great days no shortage of hares and trials after coursing and back home in daylight Y.I.S Leeview yes lee only wish them days were still here with us, just hope in time it changes in our favour. as they say only time will tell

Why do you call it the red bus coursing club?? not called red bus club. its east england coursin club, but every event there was a red bus for spectators who payed i think £5 to see the sport. they could go top deck for a crackin view. pikesta on ere his dad uncle and grandad always came for the days sport. . cheers

Few year ago was out havin a drink over by spalding\bourne in lincs when i noticed a bigish wheat field which had red like ribbon from pole to pole .there were loads. asked landlady and she said to me, it was to keep the brent geese off the land as they came in there hundreds to feed. . [NO TEXT TALK] else seen this. .
  19. leeview yes they prob did do that on there own ground to protect there permission. I used to beat for club. we met at crowland airfield and at postland for many years for the days beatin. . but where i am the CCClub never coursed here. . cheers. . .

What did the signs say exactly? they were nt put up by farmers/keepers they were put up by the Calendar coursing club on their permission to keep others from poaching their permission.All along the A47 Peterborogh through to Wisbech both sides of the road and as gonzalez mentions slightly further north on the fens Y.I.S Leeview Leeview. . the signs said "beware tripwires" on a board that was staked down, also the land there were on the owners were anti coursing. only hunting they done on land was shooting in which no 1 had any coursing permission. i had permission further up the road wh
  22. spot on mushroom, there is other animals to think about.. just wonderin if there might have been an incident involvin the tripwires which led to farmer/keeper from being able to carry on this cruel action, as not seen any about.......
  23. ian never herd/seen that before, could imagine the out come of that though as you say jaw hanging. tut tut pure evil init. was luky meself over the years that i gladly never had my dog become a cropper with those tripwires but majority of the time there were signs saying beware trip wires, even so dam right crulty....
