    Lots mate. Every man and his shed is a tuner V-Mach TbT Paul Short Nick Gibney Sandwell Ratwork To name a few... They all pretty much consist of the same process. With perhaps small differences that they can say is theres. The most experimental could be Paul with his lathe. hmm cheers for that, used to do all my own a few year back, mostly intrested in the caps and trying a nylon spring guide, a friend put one in his and tbh, hmmm perked me ears up lol

    I'm not disputing your maths as I know nothing about it, but if a pellet can barely cover 50/60 yards on a trajectory, I just can't see it would go over twice that distance vertically. seriously?... seriously get chairgun....     barrels cant just be cuit to any old desired length, theres 'ideals' for the power going through it, also they need to be crowned right too...i.e. a nelly rounding looks good but performs shite lol. longer a barrel is the longer the exit time (how long it takes the pellet to get out of the barrel), erghh theres loads that will argue 'therefore the shorter the better' but thats bollox, you'll never amount to much snap shooting a spting without the follow through...besides, we're talking in thousands of a millisecond or some such time diference. in pcp's you can turn the regs down a b

    the sample packs are ok for sussing the skirt size but..they dont provide enough lead to see if the barrel needs to be a clean one or bedded in before that particular pellet performs. e.g. my old daystate shot accupells like chronic diareah then all of a sudden perked up very nicely after the barrel had been coated up a bit, hense the clean the barrel with a pull through inbetween each pellet brand. edit, also after 500 shots your 'used to that pellet' then the change shows up the diference much more 'obviously'

    to summerise the above...argue niggle tuttle fart lol the bit about depends on your gun is the first step, but distance is the next concideration, over the next few weeks try one tin at a time, reason, some pellet/barrel combo;s need a cleen barrel (use a pull through inbetween each one then watch out for any diference as you go through the box of 500/200..watever) some need to be bedded in,,(500 is about right to see btw) something to keep your eye open for is the sticker on the back of the tin ending inn something like 50,51 52 etc, some pellets feel like they should be a lot better,

    its best shooting something you like tbh.. and the 100's are a very nice bit of kit.

    i used um at 50m, on a range, i did throw a third of a tin away at first, next tin i got titsed off and just used them, they all hit the mark bar the obvious damaged ones that arnt that many. (edge of coin stuff btw.3 out of 5, quite a few of the missed were side swipes on the coin)

    them accupels can be like that too in the right barrel..mine dont like them, or i'd be on them as dirty as they are.
