  1. Got a sxs for my early b-day present. like it better than my pumps and single shots. lite easy to carry and w/a double trigger 2 quik shots love it . Ihave no experience with o/u.
  2. Don't have hounds ,but some curdogs. the better they bond to you the better they hunt it seems.also they handle better. I hunt a lot of public land and need to have control of where my dogs go. they check in every 10 minutes or so .When there is no game
  3. Here in pennsylvania , they're very popular. I have a 5yr old shortie thats game on rather hunt than eat. Pa has a game law stating no animals to be bolted from the den. mine flush pheasant ,tree squirrels . I just can't keep'em from going to ground . if there is a den in the lil bugger goes. I have a nice 1yrold female following his footsteps. both game dogs. got the female from a farm at 3months mother was a barn dog and she taught the little 1 . made thing easier. my male was a farm dog when I pulled up the parents were working a feild for groundhogs. what i'm saying is if the parents are

  5. Howdy folks. Got a question , The farm I work at wants piegons gone . I got aboiut 10 with a pellet gun early morning off the rafters. farm has tourists on it 7 days a week.this morning tried the same tactic they took off. this was 2 weeks after the 1st time. do ya think a red lense might not spook them as much? what else could be done .traps are out of the question brought that up already. thanks in advance
  6. my cur dog started getting gunshy at about 2nd season . so I stareted woodswalking him and when he got distracted , I'd fire a blank 22 in the air and call him to me and give him a bisquit. now when he hears gunshots he comes looking for a bisquit. my other dogs look for the fur when they hear gunshots . hope this helps
