Today was the best day with her by far.weight was 9oz smack on.Put in a half hearted chase on a blackbird then recalled perfectly out of a tree.Her manners are still very good considering,bit of mantling and noise but nothing too bad and it only lasts a few seconds.She will now recall at any distance you ask of her.My brother came out with me today and couldn't believe the speed she comes at! Will get some more pics up tomorrow

I have just been watching a programme on the police and they put down a dog that was friendly because it was a pit bull. Seen it mate.That so called police woman.Is a fecking fool.atb. Catcher 1 I have been looking for the legislation that says if a friendly dog that is not aggressive has to be killed because it looks like a pit bull. What about a big staffy which are great family dogs? Someone will always take on friendly dog so why kill them. I know I am going of topic but I have a soft spot for dogs. Went down to Gary's again yesterday and he fitted missy's tail bell. What do you think? Big thanks to Gary AGAIN for the tailbell,tailguard and for lending me his telemetry! :signthankspin: Not many people would have done that!! Everywhere she goes now she will be flying the flag for wales!! Flew her today 9 1/8 still needs more off. Still instant on her recalls and over much bigger distances. Fed one and a half chicks and a few bits of quail so we will see what tomorrow brings.

Thanks Tiercel. What are you flying this year? My first lurcher was a collie/bull/grey and she was an absolute peach. Never had a dog as honest as her and she always did everything asked of her.

Just across from Llansteffan then? Good flounders round your way in the winter, or so I'm told. I know quite a few local lads who go up there. I like the beach at Llansteffan, there's hardly any seagulls compared to this place! Flounder and bass mate

Went out for a walk today wind was up a treat,still instant with every recall weight was 9 3/8 oz. Still needs more off but i'm still cautious with her. Her mantling and screaming only lasts a second or two now.

So far so good,was bloody chuffed today. Got a few good spots to get her entered so just a matter of bringing her down a bit more.She's taking a lot more interest in everything that moves now as well but not baiting at them yet. With her being my first spar as well it makes it all the more rewarding! Bit smugg there mate. Sounds like he's coming on a treat though, how long until he's on the big game? atw She will be entered by the end of this week hopefuly. Don't know about the smug part.Pleased yes, but then I am an arrogant f*cker sometimes :D
