  1. Try 2 ginger biscuits a good half hour before travelling. Ginger is well known to settle sickness. Keep to short jouneys as has already been said.
  2. Our vet gives ours booster jabs every 12 months. The Lepto part of the jab is supposedly only good for 12 months protection, along with the para influenza part of the jab. The other stuff lasts longer, but is in the same jab so is boosted on a 12 monthly basis.
  3. I have made a comment and reported it to youtube. Just under the clip there is a button 'FLAG' you will then be asked to give a reason from a drop down box, next go to 'Violent or repulsive content' at the side there will be 'animal cruelty' That is how I did it.
  4. Any idea how much the postage will be?
  5. We stopped our 2 from jumping until they were over 1 year old. Only so that their bones and joints were fully grown and lessen the risk of injury. They will now clear a barbed fence or 5 bar gate without batting an eye.
  6. As others have said, I think a 'runt' is a sickly about to die pup. Other people just call the smallest, although perfectly healthy pup the runt. Good luck with your pup. Any pics of it?

  11. We give our 2 lurchers and our welsh sheep dog hard boiled eggs. All 3 of them peel the shells off and eat only the white and yolk. Keeps them amused for a few minutes too.

  13. I keep ours trimmed, they run through a lot of undergrowth etc and touch wood have never had a problem. A mate has a black lab who ripped one of hers and had to have them taken off at the vets. Could be just luck i guess????

  17. Think you need to describe the symtoms a bit more. Is is a steering vibration or the whole vehicle? Could be a buggered prop UJ or track rod end, loose wheel bearing any number of issues.
  18. My 2p worth, Land Rover, wether it be a defender or a discovery, will be easy to maintain and parts are readily available, both new and second hand. I have a 200tdi 110 and a 200tdi disco, the defenders have an aquired driving position long distances can be uncomfortable. Disco is much more civilised For your budget I personally would be looking at a Disco TD5 commercial, you will have a heap of change so you can tax (with it being a commercial there is no co2 related tax), insure it and stick some decent tyres on it. Dispite what people say, they are not as unreliable as th
