  3. Here's another one of the pocket rockets I had in the boy racer days
  4. the little male Gos from last year was a bit slow getting going this year moult wise Milo, he's now in the aviary looking like a feather duster and looking good with his greys coming through . a pal might be taking him on to fly him when he has finished the moult if I take on one of them pointy wing things ........
  5. cracking looking falcon Chris, a lovely formed bird if I have ever seen one... I go through a good 100 shots searching for a shot like that but seldom get them , that's one photogenic bird. Get em up chris! I love seeing them and the different colouration and markings, them Fijian lines do it for me you have there! outstanding looking birds.. I was watching the thread you originally put up on the IFF "Don't You Just Love Peregrines", there was some belters went on there expecially at the beggining then for some reason some lads decided to put all sorts on there, the Pure strains in
  6. nice one chris... Ditto been a hard old season for me this year with the weather down here, it didn't just rain it was a wash out through june and july. noticed with some birds perhaps due to their saturation the sheafing on the tails didn't break down until very late, the Peregrines wasn't too bad but some of the Goshawks have suffered with poor tail feathers... I still have some very late Peregrines on the ledge which are still a little way from penning, both the females look nice with one slightly larger than the other, the other is a tiercel. Don't know about you mate but one of
  7. Good to see you on chris ... Its not a full on Falconry forum like you're used to but the sections have their moments mate . I have just been trying to tell this price Nob Massey on the IFF who's having a bit of a poke but being a none falconer its not registering with him.... most of the forums these days are a mine field and full of them, I hate seeing the sport being dragged down by a manority of idiots ..... Tony
  8. Think this is one Mr Wellers better tracks since the jam broke up
  9. I'll be watching, some good gigs running through to the 10th August by the looks of it.... spot on Aaaron .........
  10. Just shows what a brianless dick I am. one of my Escort in the pic above was on a D -Plate 1987 which makes yours a 89... think I need some tablets from the shrink again
  11. what a cracker SS looks like a 87-88? remember the touring car races back then on the telly, the Sierra used to win everything hands down!! definitely a ford classic in its own right.........
  12. nice one Gnasher . these was cars me and the wife had just before and after we married, must say I loved the RS T's but they was no match for the old Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI, this thing was a pocket rocket but not as solid as the RS Turbo's... when I was a lad and still rideing about on my Fizzy I started dating a girl a few miles away who's brother had a MKII RS2000, back then I was still on my provisional so he offered to take us to one of the local venues about 12 miles away, I rememeber getting in this RS and thinking it was the dogs danglies! he booted it away and opened her up on the str
  13. Now you're talking . Think this was Hatchback only, a pal had a black one with a with a huge whale tail spolier on the back! I beleive this also came as standard aswel as the bonnet vents. only ever seen the 2.8 4x4's in a hatchback also but could be wrong here.... A few pictures of my old Escort RS's back late 's earley 90's...
  14. cheers all for the info ..... the missus wants a focus and I like the mondeo's, looks like there's only going to be one winner!! Mondeo it is..
  15. always had fords ginger, I run a Nissan Nav too but car wise its always been a ford... the only thing these days is they have gone straight over my head since the DIY plugs/points and timeing cars . most seem pretty much none tamper these days....
  16. Nice one PP . seems the most popular I have seen are 3 - 4 year old Turbo Diesel Mondeo's 1.8 - 2.0, can't beleive how sweet they sound even with 150k plus on the clock...
  17. Anyone brought newish Cars from auctions? seen a few go for a decent price way cheaper that private or the average forcourt price. the only thing that bothers me is the miles some have clicked up in just a few years, I would think most are fleet or hire cars but some 2 - 3 year old cars have well over 100k on them with some on around 130k or more . would you take a car on say a Ford with that sort of mileage provideing it had a good service history?
  18. You're right Lab! My eyes are not what they used to be mate .. they could be Rabbits on steroids with big ears ......
  19. sheer class....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4Cf1oS7csE
  20. I'm seeing more Hares on this estate here in Norfolk than Rabbits lately, nearly everytime I put the lamp out its Hares I'm seeing and not Rabbits... Noticed that alot of the Rabbits are getting lamped and Hammered but Hares being left to thrive. why is this? ok I know Rabbits are a pest species but from a sporting pint of view it would be a sad day for us all if they wasn't here....... The Hares are near on plague proportion in some parts of Norolk..........
  21. Home turf and support... months if not years of preperation .... Individuals selected for the olympics should be the best of the rest! it only takes a outstanding talent to come from a town let alone a country to excell and win a medal, if its in them to be superior against other athletes in their field then they should produce the goods.... No excuses the UK should be winning medals and I'm sure they will but some so called expected medalists have already fell at the last hurdle yet again and ended up with not even a bronze...........
  22. seen this today, the stadiums looks pretty empty which is a shame to see... if its down to advertising and sponsors they should be hung out by their bollox......... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2180222/Olympic-seating-Day-Games-sees-banks-seats-key-venues.html
  23. Must say I sat there and enjoyed it... bit boring when it seemed to take forever for the athletes coming into the stadium but overall it was pretty spectacular .... had me in stitches when the german team came into the arena, Didn't look much like a wave to me to his athletes ... even Boris seems to be laughing in the background....
  24. Past posts mate... these are now archived and never lost
  25. Happy Birthday Si . the big 40 is just round the corner mate when everything starts to go south, if it hasn't already .....
