    falcons

Hello Steve109 I have had total social Imprint spars breed naturally and probably bred better than the rest, But I don't think I can class them as Unimprinted, I have heard birds going the other way which are totally P/R standing for AI but never heard of a bird being Unimprinted, I have no idea if it can be done fully! the feedback I get with Imprints that once the seed is sown thats it, I'm sure there's alot of guys out there though who knows different. Cheers Tony
  3. They're a lovelly Motor Nelson! I have had my Pajero for a couple of years now and it has'nt missed a beat, it pulls like a train and when towing you don't realise it, Can't fault it for comfort either with adjustable suspension for different terrains, the Shoggy's and the Imported Pajero's are like peas in a Pod! and will get you anywhere. Mine's for sale now, it not practical for me and the familly anymore! when I get the personal plate changed and as soon as the get the logbook back from the DVLA with the original plates back on and TAX changed over its up for sale for £2600, its just
  4. Hello Rob Its a 94 and doing around 24-25mpg at the most, Just put a ticket on it and it needed a new exhaust front to back, Pads and a tyre! I thought the new exhaust would have made a Improvement on fuel consumption as the old one was blowing for a while but it has'nt.
  5. I must admit I have loved My Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8, it has all the mod cons and goes anywhere! the down side is its not the most economical of Motors which is why it now has to go, if anyone is Interested its for sale as soon as the plate comes through from the DVLA which is taking ages, the private plate on it I'm keeping . Cheers Tony

    IS THIS REAL?

Its a spanish Video simon! a couple of other lads on the site also has a copy of it, there's a good few flights on there of Fox's being taken but I can't understand a word of it.

    IS THIS REAL?

Took the words out of my Mouth DS . Like you also said We all know Goldies can do it but thats a fake big time, none of it adds up! I have a few taking Fox's on Video and also find it a bit hard to beleive its gone for its back end when they know they're dangerous quarry, love the way the snow is virtually undisturbed around the fox's feet too.

    harris hawk

The trouble is if you're classed as a comercial breeder they won't let you advertise, I could have stuck Harris's up a while back but I know they would'nt let me. they only let me re-advertise two Finn x German males under my user name <Dick Dastardly> after they removed it cause thankfully A good lad who is a Mod on there MASS sorted it .
  10. All the breeding bird are late which is expected but the none breeders are moulting nice and clean earlier, the diet the same as always so perhaps it the Hot snap we had over the summer which speeded it up, the Hot weather caused me lots of problems in other ways......

    Myra

I don't put a time limit on it mate! I'll know when she's ready to be entered, but I suspect her definitley to be loose by at least the end of the month. Gamebirds and Rabbits will be the main menu.......
  13. They're more than capable of taking a fox if you can get the bird to do it, alot of Captive Bred Owls just never get going but I'm sure with the right encouragement and conditioning it would do one with one foot in its pocket .

    Myra

Hello Stollen She came out a tad under 2lb 9 but none of my birds have been eating much in the aviaries due to the Hot weather. I could pinch her keel a fair bit so I'm confident she was'nt fat plus she has a big frame and feet! I'm not over bothered though as I wanted a average size female which will do everything I want, The chance was there to keep back some Finn females if I wanted but prefer the smaller Girls . Cheers Tony

Any new birds being taken up! Its good to see Turk has now got his Gos and will be mowing down anything that moves in the future. I pulled one of the German x Finnish birds out of the aviary last Tuesday and as expected she was on fire but she's coming on nicely now and slowly becoming a sensible bird, she's also excepting the hood much better now which is handy, her name is "Myra". Cheers Tony

    my new bird

Nice birds stollen! the Harris looks a nice chesty bird and the white Gyr x Saker looks a tidy bird, mind you stoll! I would get the Falcon on a block sometime in the future .
  19. That picture is a bit special Keeps! top draw photography . Cheers Tony
  20. What cracking birds! we don't seem to get them around this way which is a shame, I heard from a guy who had trained one and he mentioned it was the most Inteigent bird he ever clapped eyes on, aparantly it would lay infront of the fire in the living room and also remove all the pegs from the Linen line dropping the washing on the ground , is there anyone who know people who captive breed these birds? Cheers Tony
  21. Hello Stollen I have no idea but the lad is kitting it out and weighing it today, I wanted to weigh it but is was chaos here, one gy turned up with some spars for him and another with a Merlin for him to take, he also brought round two spanish guys, by the time we pulled the Gos which was last they was eager to get back to scotland with a 7 hour journey ahead of them . She certainly felt a nice size and very chesty, she also had thick old legs filling the W - Ring, the pic does'nt do her justice as she was Hunched but I'm well pleased with the way they came out of this female, the scot

    My Hawks

No probs mate, if I can give you my two penneth worth I will. I think they're vastly under rated the poor old Harris's, some people move onto Gos's and find there kill ratio goes down compared to the style they used flying a Harris out of trees, its the pace I like with the Gos not so much how much head I take with one but more the edrenelin rush, there is a guy down here who flys a Harris who for the last few years has caught more head than me each season and I have no doubt he will repeat it this season. Write a few more things mate you won't bore me thats for sure, it would be good

    My Hawks

Very nice mate! thats a nice size Harris 2.7, the one's I produce here won't make no where near that! I have seen some large birds like your's and look pretty impresive, a Guy Called Craig Thomas breeds some around that stamp. I have a breeding pair for sale soon, the youngsters have been taken away and they at it again like Rabbits .
