I picked up a Navara last year and am pleased as punch with it. I took it for a MOT today and it sailed through which is also a bonus , its averageing around 30MPG and at best I have had 34MPG on a good run! I'm not a seriouse Off Roader so I can't comment what its like on the real boggy stuff, all I can say is it works for me! I can chuck just about everything in the back from Hawk Box's, Dogs, and the kids Motorbike with plenty of room to spare .....

Its a big move simon thats going to take some bottle! I know a couple of lads who in the past have moved to Canada and loved it until the winter when it hits over -20, the thing is these guys picked up a house with acres of land for well under £100.000 which makes it pretty appealing to me too, The one thing that I would hate is leaving behind family and friends, its a hard decision which would take alot of thought but If I felt it would benefit me Gill and the kids with a much better way of life then I would go for it. I had a email off a mate who moved to NZ last year and he is loving i

One of the Terriers had this one this Morning down the side of one of the aviaries! sorry about the pic Minus its guts but you know how it is when its Patterdale play time . -
I'll second that mate! I can't beleive this bloke has been able to bring in law after law taking away are rights and no one has hardly aposed the twat! the days when Thatcher was in power if she upset any union's or when she shut down the pits all hell was let loose and rightly so, no wonder this prick is grinning all the time as he walks all over everyone and gets away with it, give the twat and gun and one clip of Ammo and drop him off in the centre of Bagdad and lets see how long he lasts ..... I'll seriously look at emigrateing if Labour ever gets in again ...

Hello all, Radio 2 talked about the proposed Road Pricing car tax scheme on the radio. Apparently there is only one month left to register your objection to the 'Pay as you go' road tax. The petition is on the 10 Downing St website but they didn't tell anybody about it. Therefore at the time of the comments only 735,000 people have signed it so far and 750,000 signatures are required to stop them introducing it. Once you've given your details (you don't have to give your full address, just house number and post code will do), they will send you an email with a link in it. Once you click on

I know what you're saying Rooster and you're right if it goes on in the Hunting Forums, but this one is called "General Talk" which pretty much mean you'll get posts about anything....

what ever site you go on these days with over 2000 members on you're always going to get your fair share of posts off topic aswel as the gennuine stuff, All in all though a good fair share of the people on the site tell it as it is on the Hunting forums. as for the policeing of the site! I think with all the legislation these days we all have to be a bit carefull what keys we push on the keyboard and what pic's we put up, I'm sure it would come as a shock to all of us how many people from Government browse over these sites who like nothing better than to report anything they feel is in breach

Nice one Mooster ! Its a wind up though mate when deep down we all want our lads to do the sort of things we did, I know its a different generation now but I would'nt swap my childhood and teenage years with any of the kids these days, where I lived it was litterd with woods and places to get upto mischief , I look at the same areas now and there's houses standing on them . Its the laws and the weird'ies in this country that has got a strangle hold over the kids freedom, My lads 11 and I would'nt dare let him roam around like I used to as a kid, its a shame mate they way things are these d

I think you're right mate! thats spooky stuff. the only difference is I'm the handsome one out of the two of us ....

Oh mate tell me about it. My old man would take a pop at me about lads I used to hang around with and pretty much anything else, at the time I just about hated his guts through being a constant nag , the thing is we're big boys now and can now see that most of what our old men told us was pretty much true! I look back now and think "Boy he was right" expecially about one lad who was a supposed best mate, some best mate as I found out years latter that it was him who stole my old Motorbike . One thing I always had drilled into me was to respect my elders which has stood to me up until this

I have a lad who is now 11 Shamen and getting a bitl of attitude! I'm now shitting it as he goes up next year to the secondary school I went to , it was a shit hole then and a bigger one now by the sounds of it! the trouble is this is in our catchment area and we now have no other choice, without being to harsh on my lad how do you bring them back on track again, I get the impresion with him that if I don't want him to do something he goes ahead and does it, as if he wants to rebell against everything! its probably teenage stuff now coming in but some respect wouldn't go a miss. Good luck

Nice one Nelson for the info . I just got this off a 4x4 forum, its sounds good but I never had the same problems with the Pajero which also had a LSD! this is info I managed to find but I'm not sure if this is still the problem:

I noticed today when I selected 4 x 4 that when I reverse one of the wheels locks up, if I reverse to the right its the righthand rear! if its the left then its the left! once I straighten up all seems ok but I get the feeling its the LSD giving me some grief here or is this normal from a Limited slipp diff? at first I thought it was due to a slippery loose surface but it tightens up on dry Tarmac too and even slightly when going forward and swinging in a junction, when the car is in 2WD it is perfect! any info would be appreciated..... Cheers Jasper

Its not all about size! its if the bird has the balls to do it, Most trained Spars will latch onto things alot bigger than themselves, I had a female attache itself to a cock pheasant walking throw some Gorze, it only let go after being dragged through some brambles, its surpriseing what a confident bird will take on sometimes. A Redtail is a handfull compared to a Common buzzard, Bigger feet more weight and aggresion with a capital A is some of the advantages they have over a common Buzzard, They're a cracking bird when you get them fit ........ Yep I don't doubt it!! but then ag

A guy Ron Digby used to fly a Musket at snipe many moons ago before my time, I have spoken to him about it in the past and it was surpriseing when he told me alot of the flight weren't all that spectacular! according to Ron alot was just simple rat hunt snatches out of the air on close slips, on the long slips that went up the Musket would pull out. A had a creched Musket I called "The Henchman" that I used to throw off at larks on the stuble, conditions needed to be right for some half decent flights, if it was windy forget it. this was much the same as the snipe! if the Larks t

I think if I was flying a male Gos it would have to be the Finnish type due to the added size, from a female point of view for flying I'm not interested in these bloody great 3lb plus females even though I have the choice here, Its "Big Boys and Little Girls" for me everytime where Hawks/Falcons are concerened, its game birds we fly down this way and the odd Rabbits so a German female or Finn x German female will do me fine, this year I'll be pulling a P/R Finn male out of the aviary which will suit all my needs, I also liked flying in the past a female Pere x Prairie at the black stuff, Just

Alix There's a couple of guys breeding spars down here if you're interested? pm me and I'll fire over some phone numbers for you, I had a two year old Musket here up until the end of last year which went to scotland for £50 along with a Gos the guy brought which would have been ideal for breeding, was you after young birds or older birds for a breeding project? I also have here a male Harris Untouched in the aviary with its Parents, its a large dark bird I originally kept back myself for Business purposes but with one thing and another I never pulled him, it hatched on the 06/05/2006

I fancy some BF Goodrich ATR's Ian but I nearly passed out when a lad told me he paid around £500 for 4 for his Navara , I have some crappy things on my motor at the moment which will have to be replaced before the next MOT! Goodrich All Terrain's would be the one's though if the missus don't spend all the money first .......
