    Wellies

Your opinion means alot mate! there is a few lads I know who brought Le Crap but they look silly and tight on the Calf, I'm a bit more Patriotic and can't beleive that the British Isles can't produce a decent welly , I'll give the Argile's a look, mind you them Tay boots that showman and sako.243 was talking about look the Bollox if I talk to the missus nicley for my birthday ., thanks all for the replies too .
  2. its cruel beyond beleif! I can't hack watching any stuff like this, I only wish the scum bag who is carrying it out could receive the same fate for all us to see. I hope we can wind this one up as its barbaric beyond beleif! the people who carry out this sort of shit have no Morals what so ever and don't deserve mentioning unless they suffer a simular outcome as the poor dogs....

    Wellies

I have only ever used Hunters in the past but for some reason they only ever last me a couple of years at most, the rubber normally ends up Parched and cracked and then starts to leak! I thought about getting some of them Le Chameu boots but I would prefer some UK one's. Is there something I'm doing wrong and should treat them with something or is this about the lifespan of these wellies? could anyone also advice me on any other UK quality wellies on the market....
  4. Oh mate that sounds good! I could stick a whole bunch on the Barby useing that recipe and they would be gone in 5 mins . So far the only different meats I have tried is Pigeon breast a bit of venison and some trout, but you're right some Kababs knocked up with some different meat on would be good, I would love to find out how to make some of the sauces they Marinate different meats in? either hot and spicey or one of the Jerk sauces or anything Herby just to add some different flavours.... Just found this one on the net that sounds good: http://homecooking.about.com/od/condimentr...r/b
  5. I spend as much time taking my 11 year old lad out as possible! he's still at the age where he wants to be with me and wants me to take him everywhere! In another 4 years when he is 16 he won't want to know me as no doubt I'll embarrass him infront of his mates and girlfriends . I also enjoy in the summer months Breeding birds wether it be British Finches, Hawks/Falcons or anything else for that matter, My main interest is the artificial Incubation side of things through to pip and Hatch then back with parents.......
  6. I have the full version Turk given to me from a spanish guy from when they first catch the Gos up, train it and then prance about in slow motion flying it back and fourth to the glove , to the kill on the Hare and the final chapter when the bird is de-jessed and realeased. there's also a hour of the same guy taking fox's with Goldies! I'll get a copy fired off to you if you want one mate ....
  7. f**k me I'm all for freedom of speech but was there any need for that , Give him a chance to get it sorted!! I'm sure it'll benefit the chatroom to make it more secure and better for everyone........
  8. With the summer now coming up can anyone give us some ideas on meats and Recipes they use? Last year I saw a recipe which consisted of adding one bottle of Smoked BBQ sauce to a pan, 1 chopped onion, 2 table spoons of Honey, and 1 can of bitter or lager, <I used Caffery's >, bring to boil and then let it simmer until the onions soften. I did some pigeon breast and the normal BBQ stuff like sausages and burgers for the kids and all of these dipped or covered in the sauce above was well tasty, I also tryed cooking some burgers on the BBQ and then let them simmer in the sauce for 5 mins

    177 0r 22

This has been a bundle for years about which Calibre way before .20 hit the stage. I had a fair few springers in the late 70's earley 's from BSA Mercury's, Aisporters and a few Webleys from a Webley Hawk to a Vulcan, when we're talking about the 12ft/lbs limit which is the limit I was useing back then! the waspish .177 did everything for me, I could zero my .177 at 30 - 40 yds and take on a shot a bit further without having to give too much hold over due to its flatter trajectory compared to the .22, the amount of time's I went out with .22 lads and out shot them at distance was incredible, e

  25. Just sold a male to a welsh zoo last Tuesday untouched in the aviary with parents since it hatched in May last year, the lad who picked it up rang me the next day and told me it weighed 1lb 14! I knew this one was a lump by the way it stood head and shoulders over its father in the aviary plus the ben long anklets he brought round were too tight. A lad in Lincolnshire had a male of simular stamp a couple of years back which dropped out of a tree and took a 3 1/4 grown leveret which I thought was a one off but apparantly it took another one . Also heard from a Guy a few weeks ago who flys a
