  2. It's not that bad surely I know better places to live, how come your coming over this way? "It's time for a change" ( code for women trouble ) I like the area I've spent a bit of time there over the years as I have a few friends there and the surrounding area.
  3. Hello all, I'm moving to Stone in Staffordshire from Mid Wales and was just wondering if anyone knew of any Driven Hunts in that area because it's one of the things I'm going to miss the most when I leave Wales. Don't mind watching the odd riden hunt but I'd rather be out with the Winchester.

  11. I've got a 14 week old 3/8ths 5/8ths bull cross should make 25-26 inches to shoulder very racy looking not as stocky as his brother that I'm keeping, he's black with a bit of white on his chest, dewclawed wormed all jabbed up ready to go. Pm me if your interested or want to know more.
  12. Hi-- got myself one last season used it mostly for pidgeon and crows. must have put about 600 rounds through it, no jams that i can remember, mine is all black synthetic stock takes a knock and does not mark easily.these guns are manufactured in turkey, and are along the same design as the Escort guns made by the Hatson company ..Overall a good shotgun, no frills, but agood workhorse that wont let you down.. Cheer Thanks keithparry for that, very useful to know you've had no problems. And thanks to everyone else for they're views, very helpful indeed.
  13. In the last 12months or so they have come a long way. When AGS bought the name (about 2years ago now) the first shotguns they had made up where CRAP. Proper rubbish. As a dealer I was invited to the launch of the range at Minsterly Ranges; it was a piss poor day as nobody from the retail trade turned up (I only went because I was just up the road, and the buffet was free!!), mostly because the guns had been shown to dealers in the months leading up to the launch and the views were less than impressive. For a while after each Webly I saw was not much better and I know there were problems wi

  15. Thanks Deker, I have heard a little about the guns origin, but I was wondering if there was any problems with in the guns operation like the recycling of smaller cartriges or any other quirks that might be a real pain.
  16. The old Lanber has had its day , So I was thinking of getting a Webbey & Scott 31/2inch wildfowler Sa, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience or views on the gun, any help would be appreciated.

  18. I would recomend that you do just for peace of mind , I don't think you have to have it proofed by law but you wouldn't be able to sell the gun without it being proofed. but if you can get it screw cut and proofed for £40 snatch their hands off.
  19. I have a Sako 222 and use Sako ammo, ammo a little on the expensive side but with 1/2 inch grouping at 200yds you just dont miss old charlie drops every time the trigger gets pulled. Have put most rounds through the gun with varied results even as bad as 2inch grouping at 100yds if you can call that grouping, but the sako ammo seems to suit my gun. I did think about reloading but doubt I'd be able to achieve the same results. hope that helps
  20. Got the new shape Animal myself and very happy with it. It is a bit bouncy without a load in the back but have no problem towing with it and I do a lot of towing but towing weight on the L200 is only 2800kilo as is the new Navara and I think the old Navara is rated at 3000kilo. I find the fuel consumption very good getting 35mpg and I live very rural so no motorway mpg but when you find a nice road it sits at 62mph at 2000 rpm. Someone also mentioned the back electric window brilliant idea and yes it is very handy if you want to scream at the dogs to shut up, I think I'm right in sayi
  21. Are we talking about an old shape Hilux and if so how much is he offering? Because I know of one but it's in a welsh farmers yard and he doesn't give anything away. I'm not saying He's tight but if you stuck a piece of coal up his arse you'd get a diamond in a week. shouldn't be nasty as he gives me sole rights on his 3000 acres of land
