  2. Where in the Country are you? Tamworth Staff's
  3. Any more reccomendation's for working cockers ?
  4. I can still remember my first night's lamping as if it was yesterday .......it was 34 years ago !!! ....
  5. Nobody can say which is best the good ones more or less catch the same 3 out of 3 or whatever its not a thing that you can really say who's is best it's easier to say one of the best
  6. Personally I would not use a stud until I was sure it was throwing quality pups. There has been plenty of very good dogs that threw relatively little of any worth. The greatest male coursing greyhound Master McGrath never produced a pup worth two bob. I will not name some of the great male saluki crosses that did the same , you can make your own lists. If I liked that blood line, I would be more inclined to go back to the dog that produced him [,if he is still around], because he at least has proven himself at stud. This supposes that he has produced other top animals, after a

  9. he didnt want to go over the water for a re match With all due respect why should he ? 700 mile round trip to run field rabbits ?? when there's hundreds of place's within a 100 mile's of him with exactly the same sort of land ?? Gorger come's over here because he want's to test his dog on the best so he has to come over here and fair-play to him it show's real commitment and dedication to his sport, if the rabbit's were better "over there then I doubt very much that he'd be coming over here to "test" his dog ??? wouldent you like to say you beat the man on hes own ground .. like you

  11. Baw seem's to me like you are having a wee dig at "Bulldozer" mate, make no mistake he is a "real" dog he's not just a "fen dog" he does his job wherever he's run, as people will see when the lad's put the d.v.d out, as far as "the money" side of the game goes then in part I agree but let me put it like this when your buying performance livestock whether it is Racing pigeon's, greyhound's, or racehorses your buying a bundle of "gene's" that is the top and bottom of it even the best "breed" rubbish BUT the chance's of getting something good with the performance that you are looking for is FAR
  12. Cracking pup mate in very good order too
  13. Nope mate just telling it how it was from the mouth of a "neutral"
  14. Right lad's talking to the lad who laid on the permission for yesterday's Forley final I asked him about the run's and how the day went. Bulldozer's first run was a 150 yard slip the rabbit getting up of ploughing and then went straight on to the seed "game on" !!! this was Mr right !!! but the lad said the dog did everything "bar kill it" reckon's the dog had a real "war" with this rabbit and put load's of work into the rabbit but the rabbit just made the sanctuary of a thick wood. Bulldozer's second run was a 100 yard slip on the seed the lad said run this one just the same and killed it aft
  15. John with all due respect mate I can't see the "point" in Jack running your dog over in Ireland ? If he want's to "run field rabbit's" there's hundred's of place's in England where he can and doe's run "field rabbit's", The reason you come to England is to run on the "Fen's" and fair play to you you are a very dedicated man to do so, but there is really no point in travelling in the "opposite" direction to run "field rabbit's" in Ireland when England offer's exactly the same plus fen land, Salisbury plain down land and as many field place's as you would want. just my opinion mate I'd also s
  16. As you'll be able to see when Buly's d.v.d comes out the dog kill's crap or average "rabbit's" as quick as any dog, Like all top dog's he know's when he's found a good one so he'll "ride it" he know's to bide his time I'm sure when the d.v.d's out he'll silence all "the crabber's" once and for all
  17. Sound's bad put like that ! What I heard from a "neutral" a rabbit got up about 10 minute's after from the same place as M.L.'S got up, Jack slipped killed it instant, lad's seem to think it was the same one made it's way back in full circle but Jack wasn't to know when he slipped and the rule's of competition are a "slip's a slip" not very satisfactory I know but not as bad as the way it was put above sounded like they'd got dyno-rod out the way it's put above !!! Carp777 you slayed gorja on here the other day and today its come back to bite your ass Bulldozers first run was too good f
  18. 21. Fair play to Mark, but as the old saying goes mate "what goes around come's around" 12 month's on from last year's final where Jack had to hand the final to Mark after doing two from two in the final and also without "missing" one in all the "round's" up to and including the final last year at 17 month's old.... this time it's "boot" on the other foot fair play to Mark for "recognizing" that his young bitch had had enough, and well done to Jack he's got a top dog there probably even better than he think's
